Rusty's Loft is a second story chalet style one room apartment, with 360 degree views of Farm fields, pond and woods. We kept the walls to a minimum to preserve the views. There is a large wrap around deck with views of the pond. The 900 sf space includes a full bath and full kitchen with all appliances and accessories. The full bathroom is fully furnished with lots of towels and most bathroom necessities including soap, shampoo, conditioner, tissues and tp. The space includes a unique queen size bed made of Texas cypress. The new couch folds out and there is a queen air mattress for the third bed. Linens are included. This is just one room, so there is little privacy, but it is very cozy. A nice sitting area allows for games or conversation and the bar has four swivel bar stools for dining. Gliders are available for viewing the animals grazing across the road. Behind the loft is a campsite with two rockers and a double person swing with a view of the pond. A fire ring and firewood is provided for your campsite enjoyment. Rusty, the steer and Lexi and Little Bits, the mini horses are fun to watch and meet. The barn across the road is available to explore and also see our barn kitty, Brindle, and the chickens. The creek on the property runs 1200 feet to the south branch of the Portage River. Hiking trails cover the property and the pond is available to kayak, or swim. Sunsets are amazing here and the limited light makes star gazing possible. Quiet and remote, Rusty's Loft is the place you've been looking for to unwind and de-stress.
We use an ozone generator after the loft is thoroughly cleaned to purify and sanitize the space leaving a fresh, clean space for each guest. Pets are welcome with an additional fee.
We have only rented for a couple of years and everything in the space is nearly new. We have a new hearth with simulated fire. A faux sheepskin rug makes the space comfy and warm. Fostoria is a short 6 miles away with dining and shopping including a full Kroger with liquor.

Summary: Loved our stay! Jay and Heather were the perfect hosts. Loved our golf cart tour of the property and the fresh kale, spinach, and chard from the garden was delicious. Very pet friendly stay.

Summary: A place full of peace and joy. J & Heather shared this little slice of heaven with us & we greatly appreciated it. We were able to buy some of their eggs and fresh grown produce for an amazing breakfast. We'll definitely be stopping by the next time we're in the area. We highly recommend this place. Our furry companions loved it as well.

Summary: I had an absolutely incredible stay. Heather and Jay are phenomenal hosts. You can tell they really care about their guests and their property. I feel like I've known Heather my entire life! The property is as serene as it gets. If you are looking for a calming, zen getaway, Rusty's Loft is the ticket! Walking my dog around the trails on the property every morning was so grounding (for me) and exciting for my little pup as she sniffed out all the critters that had come before her on the trails. I will be returning!!

Summary: Jay and Heather were very friendly! Took the whole family for a golf cart tour of the property as well as animals. Exceptionally clean and anything we needed was taken care of immediately. Being out in the middle of nowhere does the mind good. A beautiful pond, manicured and I can attest that it has at least 1-5 lb largemouth bassin it cause I caught it. All in all 5 stars across the board!!!! Excellent!

Summary: Everything from start to finish was amazing. The previous reviews are all accurate. We had to check in late due to prior obligations but they were very accommodating. We needed a late check out and they made it happen. Nothing but great things to say. Looking into coming back for a weekend with the kids to swim and explore. 10/10 recommended.
