Summary: It is in the old quarter of Fez where cars can’t go so very quaint with large bedrooms. The staff has amazing customer service and the place was quiet yet wonderful! They really go above and beyond to make you feel like royalty!

Summary: This was a fabulous hotel and the service was excellent! The staff were very attentive and offered us complimentary mint tea and cookies after our Medina adventures each day. Breakfast was different each day and my husband loved the tomato jam. They serve breakfast in the courtyard during winter/spring time when it’s too cold but they also serve breakfast on the rooftop in the summer I believe. The architecture of this place was amazing. Shout out to Otmane for being extra attentive at the front desk. I appreciated that they gave us new bottled water each day as many hotels do not do that. It was amazing to hear the call to prayer from the rooftop (which has an amazing view of the Medina by the way). We would definitely stay here again. Things that could be improved include: dim lighting in rooms, TV was all in German for some reason, sometimes the outside door took a while to open (they don’t give you a key to the riad main entrance), and the windows didn’t shut very well so you could hear the street noise a bit.

Summary: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They treated us like a family. They greeted us with tea and delicious cookies. The information they provided to us made our trip easy. Their room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient. The breakfast was awesome. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to whoever visits Fes.

Summary: I am happy with my stay , I was really looking for a traditional Moroccan place to stay and Ryad Alya did not disappoint. The architecture is very traditional and I can feel the local tradition in my stay. They also served the best traditional Moroccan breakfast and Idris was so nice to wait for me for my late check in and also for providing me good breakfast himself. I recommend this place in your next trip and they also have a transfer from the airport or from the train to this place.

Summary: Ryad Alya is a beautiful classic property with a fantastic view of Fes from its rooftop terrace. Our room was huge and comfortable for our family of 3 adults. Close to the Souk and the Blue Gate. Great breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommend.
