Summary: The property was located in a good location. The property was easy to get to. The property had lots of animals my grandson could pet. The room was dark and dingy, the shower was so short. If I had been a few inches taller I would have to have bent over to use it. The cabin was very old and dated. For the cost per night I feel as if it was extremely overpriced. At $164 a night I could have stayed in a very nice hotel. I wanted the woodsy feeling for my grandson. I will not recommend this property to my friends.

Summary: What a quaint little farm great for an easy vacation stay with lots to do! Our 5yr old loves the animals and the short walk to the river for fishing! Wendy was so kind and even offered complimentary breakfast!

Summary: My family and I were looking to get away from where we live to visit some parks and found a lovely place to stay here at The Country Woods Inn. The property was exactly what we were looking for, complete with all sorts of animals to watch and interact with. The accommodations themselves were very nice and had some nice history to them as well (homes from the 1800s!). It was very quiet and had plenty of space for our dogs to explore and so many awesome things for our daughter to do while there. Highly recommend this place for families looking to get away and enjoy some relaxing family time.

Summary: It was great cabin was cozy and rustic . when we arrived like on cue a black horse came to visit . at dusk and dawn deer was roaming in field close to all glen rose had to offer we had a lot of fun dog friendly cabin and attractions

Summary: If you are looking for a great family friendly place to stay look no further than the Country Woods Inn in Glenrose, TX. My grandson and I stayed 3 nights last week and loved it. The property managers Wendy and Chris are the best! Wendy meets everyone each day to make sure your stay is going well. Breakfast is served in the barn each Saturday and Sunday morning, which is a bonus! Chris makes the best, fluffy pancakes each Saturday morning. The children really enjoy the petting zoo and being able to feed the goats, sheep, horse, donkey and llama! Such a great place and within a couple miles from Dinasaur Valley Park.
