Set in the green rolling hills of South Gippsland. There is abundant bird life to spot, Kookaburras, Black Cockatoos, Tawny Frogmouths and Wedge Tail Eagles.
At night, turn the lights out and enjoy the amazing array of stars in the sky, unaffected by town lights, while toasting a marshmallow on an open fire (fire restrictions permitting).

There is plenty to do, or just sit and enjoy the country peace and quiet.
Cottage: Three bedroom, one with King size latex mattress, one Queen sized latex topped mattress and bunk room (sleeps up to 4 children). Note 8 is a tight squeeze, but 6 is comfortable. Cosy living room, with log burner and dining table. Board games, a large screen TV with DVD’s. Simple cosy kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay, the home was basic accommodation 1950 standard but good beds and had everything we needed, seems like it's a work in progress though. It could do with a smoke alarm, an iron and ironing board and some more fly screens. I thought the price was a bit high for the standard of accommodation but we liked the area peace and quiet and enjoyed discovering the sights.

Summary: Our family with 5yo and 9yo had a great time staying here for 5 days. There was a huge range of games to play with and we spent most of the time at home just lazing about. Nearby we enjoyed Tank Adventures and Agnes Falls and wandering around Toora.
