Positive: It was very cold so the heating was very welcome. The beds, bed linen and towels were exceptional. Large bedrooms. Easy car parking.
Negative: Expected shampoo and conditioner to be available - luckily we brought some. A box of tissues was needed. The kitchen is farmhouse style, small but functional for 2 at a time - would be cramped if 6 people staying - it is the one area we thought needed an overhaul. The internet was very slow at times but this could have been due to the house location.
Summary: A pleasantly ' different' house, French themed, excellently suited to our needs at the time.

Positive: We liked the location, the outdoor seating area, bedrooms were an excellent size and comfortable.
Negative: The kitchen bench we found unhygenic (exception of the small granite block) because of the gaps in the wood grain and the joins between the boards which trapped dirt and food crumbs and was impossible to clean well. This made if very difficult to prepare meals. We did not like not being provided with keys for doors that locked from the inside of the rooms and felt blamed because the door was accidently locked. What if someone had a medical incident and the door was locked. There are so many nick-nacks for a house designed for family rental.

Positive: Beautiful home, gorgeous styling and so comfortable .
Negative: Holiday Rental Specialists their Communication was extremely poor -some examples of many, from the Bowral office -the company rang three days in a row requesting the same information provided on the first day. On another occasion we rang their office and we were told the manager would ring back but they didn’t , then there were the 15+ emails creating the impression they had been hacked.
