Escape on a romantic weekend to The Barn - luxury barn-style adults only accommodation in the prestigious suburb of Burradoo. Nestled within the gardens of a private home, yet totally separate and private, guests can enjoy a luxurious weekend exploring the Southern Highlands. The Barn is very centrally located - only 4km from the Bowral town centre - in a leafy pocket of Burradoo which is known for its wide streets, beautiful homes and immaculate gardens.
Accommodation is for 2 adults in a loft style queen bedroom with a magnificent chandelier as a centre piece. Downstairs has a sun-drenched living area and the kitchen is equipped with all new appliances. The home is whisper quiet and the landscaped gardens are visible from every window.

Where will I be?
The Barn is conveniently located in leafy Burradoo, just 4 kms from the main street of Bowral. It is within easy driving distance of Bowral, Moss Vale, and all wineries, wedding venues and other local attractions.

The Barn is a romantic hideaway where guests can shut out the hustle and bustle to enjoy a secluded and private stay. Both the living area and loft style bedroom are spacious. The setting is relaxing, yet the location is close to good restaurants, wineries and shopping.
How is The Barn laid out?
Enter The Barn by walking around to the back of the dwelling. The entrance door leads into the kitchen and lounge area, with the bathroom / laundry also being located downstairs. The stairs lead up to the loft style queen bedroom.

The Barn is located in Burradoo and the property does not have reliable WiFi. Complimentary WiFi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the Barn! The accomodation was very nice, especially the kitchen and bedroom. The place was in close proximity to the town centre and lots of local attractions. I would definitely recommend the Barn and thank you very much for having us :)

Summary: The property was lovely. It’s clean and tidy. It’s in a great location. It’s a lovely romantic getaway. The only thing that I would like improved on the property is a paved path to the front door of the property. You cross a grassed lawn to get to the front door and with all this rain turned into a muddy mess. The agent had different information on check in/check out times to Stayz and their own house rules book. It took 3 calls on the day to get access codes. We ended up getting into the property 2 hours after the agreed check in time. It was a disappointing start to what was a lovely stay.

Summary: great location, clean, facilities good but air conditioning is inadequate in that upstairs bedroom adequately heated but downstairs remains cold, fireplace not able to be used, ceiling height above upstairs stair landing before bedroom floor is too low and needs warning.

Summary: The property was spacious, tastefully decorated, well equipped and in a lovely location. We had a pleasant stay. However, there were a few things that could be improved upon. Unfortunately, we had to have a cold shower on our first morning as the hot water system hadn't been turned on and there was no indication in the information book that we needed to turn it on. (We subsequently found an on/off switch in the bathroom.) Only one side of the double power point in the kitchen was working. The toaster was plugged into the side that didn't work suggesting to us that there was something wrong with the actual toaster. After trying to "fix?!" the toaster we successfully tried the other side of the power point where the kettle had been plugged in. It was a cold wet weekend and as the air conditioner was located upstairs high in the loft (and warm air rises) the downstairs area remained cold and the upstairs area was too warm during our stay. We did find a small heater but this was totally inadequate as the down stairs is quite a large area and due to there being an open loft space/bedroom upstairs it was hard to heat. While we were opening the front door we got drenched. Some sort of cover over the entrance door would be much appreciated. In the bathroom there was no shelf to put your toiletry items on and also there had been a shelf for shampoo etc in the shower but this was broken and had not been replaced. With a few minor improvements this would be a lovely place to stay.
