• A Delightful Parisian Apartment: On this quaint narrow street in the heart of the Saint Germain arts district, set back on a typical Parisian courtyard, this tranquil and secluded first floor apartment oozes charm. With polished wooden floors and four big windows overlooking the courtyard, the apartment is gently lit and has a soft and inviting ambiance. The living room has an attractive ornamental fireplace, a generous and comfortable sofa which folds down to make a double bed, elegant table and chairs for up to 4 people, and a flat screen wall-mounted television. The fully equipped modern kitchen with glossy handmade black tiles and modern stainless steel appliances has a window opening onto the inner light well, and is separated from the living room by a high bar.
The light bedroom in restful blue and white is beautifully decorated with ample space for the king bed. From the bedroom walk through into your separate dressing room with floor to ceiling hanging and storage for your clothes, shoes and suitcases.
In the luxurious all limestone bathroom, relax in the bath alongside the full width stained glass window. There is also a large separate shower with rain shower head, porcelain hand basin with elegant faucets and a full washing machine and dryer hidden behind custom made cabinets. We supply fluffy towels, bathrobes, liquid soap and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The toilet is located off the entrance hall.
The apartment is equipped with a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, laptop with WiFi and a phone for local and international calls. To ensure your comfort, the apartment also has central heating and air conditioning for the summer.

Summary: Pity about the toxic fumes, every time we opened a kitchen cabinet, which we thought must be some very rancid oil hiding in the depths. When the “technician” (who acted more like someone with authority) finally dropped in after 2 days to get the tv working, it turned out they had not bothered to reserve time between bookings for the (particularly stinky) paint to dry His response was to instruct us to keep the windows open whenever out, even though the temperature had dropped significantly (8-16°C / 47-61°F throughout) and there was no heating (a tiny Gallic shrug was his response, as he obviously knew this). Even when we decided freezing would be the better choice, the disgusting odour hit us on every return. Also, within 48 hours, the rank smell had sunk into our clothing - the man’s only reaction to our pointing this out had been annoyance. After checking out, we found we could not post our review via VRBO due to a "technical error” that was never explained. In the meantime, the hosts (PVA) invited us to review through them, giving them control. 10 days of persistence was required to get VRBO to rectify this and enable us to directly post our review, which we found rather odd...

Summary: We just spent 10 days here and it was perfect in every way. All the amenities we needed, quite, fabulous location. Several Metro stations are within easy walking distance and the neighbourhood is worth exploring. There are dozens and dozens and dozens of great restaurants in the vicinity. On each of the 10 days we were there, we walked more than 10,000 steps each day, and one day we even walked 21,000 steps. If you get a chance, stay here.

Summary: The apartment was cozy and comfortable. Hosts sent lots of helpful information about the area (left bank, St. Germaine region). Many excellent cafes and restaurants close by. Close to the Louvre and Tuileries Gardens and a 2 mile walk to the Eiffel Tower. 😁

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this lovely property in the heart of St. Germain. Exactly as pictured and described, with additional welcome gifts for both me and my husband and for our children. Fanny, our greeter, was present and helpful upon our arrival. She explained that the building had experienced a cable and internet outage the night before, and as a result she provided us with a satellite internet option until it was fixed. It worked great. Less than 24 hours later the issue was resolved, and her team arrived to confirm that we had all that we needed. Lovely hosts, clean apartment, large bathroom with a separate bathtub (rare for Paris!), and a perfectly adequate kitchen for our needs. We would absolutely stay again.

Summary: We traveled for our first time to Paris, and the location could not have been more perfect within walking distance to so many places on our list to visit. The apartment is charming, tastefully updated and perfect for a couple. Fanny was so friendly and helpful during our stay, even answering questions not related to the rental! I was pleased to find a end of day relaxing bed (not European, very comfortable). The bathroom has a great bath/shower. The word enchanting is a great description for the apartment and area. One note, the floors are fabulous wood but a bit squeaky across the living space - beautiful in design, just no chance you won't wake anyone sleeping in the living room if considering using the couch as a sleep space. It was a wonderful 1st experience, and I would stay here again.

Summary: The location is ideal: short 2 block walk to the Seine, close to the bridges to the Louvre and Ile de Cite. Two metro stops within three block walk. The immediate area has several wonderful bakeries, markets, a supermarket, and cafes. The apartment location in the building - windows opening on to inner courtyard - affords quiet, even when street is (rarely) noisy. Well appointed bathroom has a roomy shower and large tub. A large closet off the bedroom is a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped. We used the washer and dryer several times, they worked fine. Details like umbrellas and a shopping cart were most welcome. Overall, this is a comfortable, apartment with high end amenities, which served as a perfect home base for a week of exploring and enjoying Paris.
