Positive: It's fine for one night, if you must visit the area. In retrospect I should have avoided this region. It's just so depressing.

Negative: There are too many misrepresented property listings on this website. Hotels that claim to have restaurants, actually don't. It's really frustrating to find this out on arrival. Eating a cheap delivered fast food kebab isn't much of a solution for dinner, especially in a town that is nothing more than rubble due to a devastating earthquake. Drinking a glass of wine in this country is EXTREMELY lucrative for the business that serves it. They seem to have perfected the art of ripping off tourists at every opportunity which is really unfortunate. For some ridiculous unknown reason, the air conditioning shuts off every hour. This region might be worth a visit ten years from now. At the moment it's just a chaotic mess of construction, destroyed roads and rubble in every direction with minimal services available. Armenia so far, has been the opposite experience and is turning out to be a delightful country to explore.

Summary: Perhaps worth visiting ten years from now.

Negative: It is sad to see the devestation that the eartquake caused. But, the hotel is great!. This is therefore not a complaint, but just an observation. It will take time to rebuild
