Positive: Beautiful room, swimming pool (just very very cold) and surroundings. Great massage. But not pleased that I was not informed taxes will be added on the price I was told. Suddenly the price increased by 20% on already expensive treatment (95eur).

Negative: Lunch and food was mediocre. And the restaurant prices were very high. Of course, the resort has monopoly as there is nothing else around, but the prices were outrageous (most simple salad 10+ euros). And the worst part, I gave a couple of clothes for laundry, and one of the pieces came back ruined! It had dark purple stains on it (not one stain but all over the pants) , that were not possible to wash afterwards. The pants were meant for next days wedding ceremony, and they ruined it. No one speaks proper enough English to help me with that, and they said I put turmeric on it (which is yellow) and ruined my pants myself. Well, the pants were not yellow but purple in color. Also, they did not reimburse me for the cost of the pants, and I had to buy a new one just before the wedding on my own cost AGAIN. It caused a lot of inconvenience AND EXTRA expenses. Very disappointing.

Positive: It’s an expansive property with beautiful massive gardens and being a heritage property you’re literally in the lap of luxury. This was our 3rd time staying here, and we’d certainly be back. Another key point to highlight is fresh clean air, which is unfortunately quite rare in northern India.

Negative: just that the restaurant pricing was quite steep and comparable to dining at Indian restaurants in Europe or the US. Nevertheless, food quality was good all through. Hence, in grand scheme of things this was not a concern
