Summary: A mouldy smell is the first impression (couch especially). Lack of adequate kitchen equipment, (not one sharp knife).Washing machine door faulty. No way to dry clothes if raining. Noise from adjoining rental, walls obviously too thin. Accomodation needs total refurbishment. Covered outside areas totally useless as rain ingress was extensive.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay at Judith’s. Wonderful location, the outside space and surrounding area is just beautiful and the swimming pool is a great bonus! Judith is a super host, really kind and helpful - Leo loved the bouncy ball and sneaked it off with us when we left!!

Summary: The property is well away from any traffuc and has wonderful views of the surrounding hills and trees. There is a lovely outdoor area, where enjoyed evening games wjth our family. There are no shops nearby, so ensure you have what you need. Inside is quite basic from a furniture point of view, but all cooking things you need, and a good shower. We would stay again.

Summary: Fantastic location for Cantabria and Asturias's national parks, coast and mountains. Well equipped cosy, comfortable holiday let with stunning views. Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded valley surrounded by beautiful countryside but close enough to local amenities for food shopping and Autovia for sightseeing and daytrips. A private wing of their beautiful homestead complete with sheep and chickens, Judith and Martin couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. Thanks for the Lego for our four year old. Great for kids ( big field to run around in and pool (in season) Very memorable and happy family stay.

Summary: This place is really "away from it all" at the countryside with sheep's, horses and hens. A nice house with everything you need for cooking and entertainment (lots of games and puzzles) and a nice view.

Summary: Pros: amazing rural setting, complete with cows, sheep, donkeys and chickens. The owner was efficient and responsive throughout. She very kindly made a phone call for us as our Spanish was not good enough. A good center from which to see many wonderful sites. Small but adequate kitchen, ditto bathroom. Comfortable beds. Cons: very steep, narrow stairs to bedrooms - would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The rental shares paper-thin walls with the owners and another rental unit - which meant that we were at the mercy of their schedules and habits, although this was apparently not an issue for previous reviewers.

Summary: Comfortable villa with beautiful views of the mountains around. Eagles flying overhead, yet still quick to get into Torrelavega for supermarkets etc. and less than 30 minutes to beautiful sandy beaches (Oyambre was our favourite). Good for surfing, hiking and cycling (if you like cycling on very hilly roads!). Great welcoming hosts, always there if you need them but not intrusive. The villa sits within several acres of land with a few sheep and horses around to keep the grass down - the kids loved feeding them. There's even some woods accessible just across the lower field if you want to explore further.

Summary: We were so very happy to call San Cipriano 'home' for 5 nights. Far too short of you ask me! Judith was an exceptional host! We actually contacted her a few days before our arranged stay and asked if we could come a day early. She was more than hospitable! Her family lives on property so it was easy to stay in communication if needed. Despite that, it still feel private and secluded. The place was fully equipped and very comfortable! The pool was a great touch! Sheep, horses and chickens made the stay even more homey.
