THE LOCATION:
The property is setting close to the famous Pieve di Santa Maria Assunta a Cellole which is also Known as Monastery of Bose. Our Villa is the biggest one of a really small Hamlet composed of few small classic Tuscan houses along the ancient Francigena Pilgrimage Route, precisely between Certaldo (about 6 Km) and San Gimignano (3,5 Km)! The Countryside here is characterized by Vineyards, Olive grooves and from the Panoramic Garden of our property you have an amazing view above the Chianti Hills and the small medieval village of Certaldo Alto. A Big Gate it's the entrance of our Ground where the property it's setting!
YOUR APARTMENT:
The Apartment has a private exclusive alfresco area arranged with big table and chairs just in front of the door of the Kitchen of your apartment. Here in the Nearby you'll find also a BBQ at your complete disposal.
The apartment has also another big Door in the LivingRoom which faced directly on the big Ground of the property with View on the Pool area!
It's arranged on two Floors:
+ GROUND FLOOR:
- A Big LivingRoom with big Table, Sofas, Cable LCD TV
- A Characteristic Tuscan KITCHEN with FIREPLACE and big Table. You'll find here all the kitchen linen you'll need, DISHWASHER, fridge, freezer, Oven, MoKa Coffee Maker, Rings Cooker and so on
- A very bright DOUBLE BEDROOM with big windows and BATHROOM EN SUITE.
- A Private Exclusive outdoor Area arranged with Big Table and chairs ideal to have Al Fresco Dinner or Breakfast.
From the ground floor a straight stone staircase bring you to the first floor of your apartment.

- 1 TRIPLE BEDROOM with a Queen Size Bed and a Single Bed. Big Wardrobe and desk.
- 1 Bathroom with Shower, Washbasin, WC and Bidet

All the areas of the Apartment have been renovated with Stylish Tuscan Furnitures :)

- AIR CONDITIONING is in the three Bedroom on the 1st Floor of the apartment. On the ground Floor you no need Air Conditioning thanks to the big stone walls of the villa which mantains the ambience always cool! :)
- MOSQUITOS NETS in the Bedrooms!
- A WASHING MACHINE at your disposal just next to your apartment, under a stone outdoor staircase. You'll find wires to dry your clothes on the big Panoramic terrace in the Ground of the Property.
- Tennis Court at your disposal in the big Ground of the property. Accessible by a path behind the pool area. Consider that it's not a professional Tennis Court but it could be funny to have some small matches there.
The POOL AREA AND the BIG Ground:
The Pool area is amazing and equipped with Sun Umbrellas, Sun beds and also here you'll find a Gazebo area with tables and chairs.
For an highest Level of Safety, especially in case of Children, the Pool area can be easily closed by a small gate and fence that divide it by the rest of the ground.
The Ground is amazing, full of colored Flowers and Gazebos at your disposal.

Summary: This magnificent villa and the hosts, Cristina and Simone, surpassed our expectations and made a blissful stay in beautiful San Gimignano. The 300+ year old home was clean, charming and authentic and the grounds were well maintained and serene. The views of the countryside were breathtaking! At our request, the hosts arranged for a chef, Patrizia, to come to prepare dinner on 3 evenings. She was delightful and used fresh produce and ingredients from her own farm in the multi-course meals she made. We cannot wait to return to this Tuscan paradise!

Summary: The house is amazing with picturesque views and wonderful space. The pizza oven was amazing! Simone and Cristina were quick to respond if we had questions, provided a wonderful book with information on wineries, restaurants, and much more in the area. Very peaceful spot and easy to get to local attractions. We all fell in love with the house and area! We all highly recommend this house for your stay in the San Gimignano area.

Summary: Close to tourist places and easy to travel to sites. The hosts were the best and the cooking class and food was incredible!! It is peaceful and the views are beautiful. I would recommend to others but note the house is aging and needs refresh, the air conditioners did not work well, but is authentic in many ways.

Summary: From the moment of booking, we had very pleasant contact with the owners. On the day of arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the whole family and given a wonderful tour of the house and garden. The gardens are beautifully maintained and there is very much to enjoy for young and old. highlighting the beautiful swimming pool. In the evening we enjoyed the most beautiful view you can imagine. and ate delicious pizza from the pizza oven. The loction is easily accessible and and nicely central for countless day trips. all in all a successful house for the perfect holiday

Summary: We were lucky to stay in this beautiful villa for eight nights in June. The pictures do not do the property justice! The views from the patio are the perfect, dreamy Tuscany views and we had breakfast there every morning. Simone and Cristina are the perfect hosts; responsive and kind. We cooked at the house several evenings and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We even made the Florentine traditional dish Bistecca on the open fire in the outdoor grill. The villa is a short drive from beautiful San Gimignano where we had several lunches and did our grocery shopping. We are already thinking of our next trip to Italy and would absolutely stay at the villa again!

Summary: We can’t say enough how Wonderful our experience was. The property is amazing with the best views. The host could not have been more accommodating. My father in law had pneumonia while in Italy and the host helped arrange portable oxygen for him from the local pharmacy. She even had me follow her to the pharmacy location. This was above and beyond helpful. The location is perfect. So close to Florence and Sienna. The town of San Gimignano is amazing. We will definitely stay there again.

Summary: Gorgeous grounds, well appointed house and delightful hosts. We had a wonderful stay despite the rain that fell every day during our trip. The hosts arranged for a local chef to prepare dinner at the villa the first night, which made our first evening very relaxing. If we return to the San Gimignano area again, we will definitely book this property.

Summary: What a wonderful countryside villa that Simone and his family have opened up and shared with the public! If you want authenticity and real of history and want to stay in an over 300 year old villa, this is the place for you! the property itself is stunning and the views are gorgeous. The interior and rooms have a very authentic feel and although not particularly new and upgraded, have all the modern conveniences you will need. We had Patrizia come and cook us an incredible meal (with food left over for the next night!), I'd highly recommend it. Simone had lots of great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs, even stopping by to check in one of the nights . This is the ultimate Countryside Tuscan getaway and we'd highly recommend it.

Summary: Simone and his family met us upon arrival, when they showed us around the house and grounds, and then checked us in. The villa was beautiful, infact better than we expected from the photos on VRBO. It is clear the family take great care to ensure the property is kept to a high standard and Simone remained at our disposal should anything come up, despite being on holiday himself. We did have to contact Simone following an unusual and strong summer storm which is not typical in the area and which caused damage to some items. Simone was quick to respond and the people who came to the villa to put things right were so nice and friendly, they were a delight to have round! We are sorry our stay was only a week and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Simone and Cristina for making us feel so welcome and for being so accommodating. Daniela, Claudio & Family
