Summary: My husband and I stayed here for a week and we did not want to leave. Susan’s cabin is very special and one of a kind! She was a great host and replied quickly if we had any questions. This place is truly magical and I would highly recommend! 5 stars for sure!! ❤️

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in the woods. A nice place, quiet, peaceful, and funky in a positive and creatively stimulating way. Beautiful view of the bay. Plenty of natural light coming in. Close enough to walk to the quite impressive Roche Harbor area. The host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely return for another visit.

Summary: We have rented many wonderful places on SJI, but this is by far the best. The cabin is simply wonderful and the location and views are superb. Susan has equipped the cabin exceedingly well. It is very comfortable and charming. We cannot recommend this highly enough!

Summary: A lovely cabin with a great water view. Lots of personal touches in the decor. Obviously owned by a person with an artistic bent. Fresh oysters, clams and mussels at the end of the road. Farmers Market in Friday Harbor on Saturday. Easy drive to beautiful beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Interesting wooden cabin with loads of character. It's well positioned on the west coast of San Juan island but is very private and secluded. The deck areas and chairs make for a relaxing stay and inside it is very well equipped. The layout is fairly open plan but the two sleeping areas can be private.There's no wifi but cell signal is good. Roche Harbour is scenic and has a good provisions store and cafe. And as for Orcas .... wow!

Summary: We loved our visit to this unique home! It reminded my family of a "gnome house" complete with moss along the lane! It was obvious the homeowner put a lot of thought and energy into building this cabin by repurposing materials. We enjoyed playing games in the evening and our morning coffee and evening wine with beautiful views of the bay. The photos represent it well.
