3 Bedroom House in Sandbridge, Virginia Beach

The house is located on the 'Third Row' of Sandbridge. It is a short walk to the beach. Sandbridge has a white sandy beach and fun surf. It is not too rough, but has ample waves for boogie boarding and surfing fun. Pitch your umbrella and enjoy the day. And, of course, our new pool, added in 2021.
Cathedral ceilings and large windows provide an open, outdoorsy feel. Rough cut cedar walls and pine floors throughout. Living area opens up to a screened breezeway. The breezeway has wonderful sea breezes and shady areas throughout the day. Plenty of deck furniture makes it a wonderful place to gather. Master Bedroom/Bath (QB) is off the main living area. Bedroom 2 (QB) and Bedroom 3(2 sets of twin bunks) and 2nd bath are separated from the main part of the house by the breezeway. There is also an ocean side sun deck with a table and chairs and umbrella. It is a great place to sunbathe, and is shady and cool in the evenings.
Situated on a large sandy lot surrounded by sea grasses, bayberry and wax myrtle, the property has a secluded, beachy atmosphere. Enjoy bird watching and gorgeous sunsets over Back Bay.
Please note that the house rents weekly only from Saturday to Saturday.

Summary: We enjoyed this vacation even though our weather was less than desirable. Having the pool was great since it was raining a little bit every day and the walk to the beach was nice! The road the house was on was a little busy, so we had to walk our bikes to the street behind to ride, which was fine. The only complaint is a weed that was growing in the back lawn. It had burrs on it that stuck and hurt badly! So we couldn’t play anything in the back unless it was inside the pool area. Hosts communicated great!

Summary: Our kids loved the house. We enjoyed the pool so much. Our kids got the biggest kick out of their room being off the breezeway. The beach is a very short walk and we spent a lot of time there as well. My only complaint is the house has some plant somewhere in the yard that leaves very sharp tiny objects outside and we had to always be wearing sandals and watch out for them.

Summary: There were 4 adults and 2 kids (10 and 7) staying here and it was perfect. The pool is beautiful and great for either before or after the beach. Speaking of the beach, it’s a very short walk to the beach with many access areas nearby. Our family took our bikes and enjoyed riding the almost 10 mile trail that starts in Back Bay. The rooms were clean and cool and the “breeze way” was an amazing place to read or just relax in the evening and have a cup of coffee in the morning. We look forward to coming back in the years to come!

Summary: This was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. Plenty of room in dining/living room. Kitchen was on small side but well stocked. We grilled every time we ate in so wasn’t an issue for us. The pool was a great bonus!! Walk to beach was an easy distance. Will definitely stay here again.
