Positive: Amazing place with excellent management that is always available to help guests. The pool is a fantastic bonus, especially for a hotel in Santorini. Close to beach. The breakfast changes from day to day, offering a wonderful variety of delicious Greek dishes. A special thank you to Sophia for making our stay so memorable with her kindness and hospitality. We had a wonderful time and would gladly stay here again!

Positive: The hotel far exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place to stay, this is definitely the place. The breakfast was simple and delicious, and they even made iced coffees for us upon request. Our room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable. Most of all, the hosts were so warm and friendly. They truly made us feel at home, and we had some wonderful conversations during our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and their hospitality made our experience even more special. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again!

Positive: Family run and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Place is spotless. Good choice for breakfast. Room also has everything you might need. Comfy beds too.

Negative: Hard to find fault. Shower little on small side. Hotel little bit away from main area (uphill on way back) but that's being picky as place and hosts are just lovely

Positive: Sophie and Jannis are Santa Elena. The personal touch makes the differnce. They are always willing to help. Nothing is too much. The home made breakfast is superb. The Greek yoghurt is delightful; Orange juice is freshlully made while the pastries are so tasty. They will help and advise with restaurants to go; they will help with trips around the island. They make it personal and go beyond of what is expected at a hotel. Information on the local buses is provided. The room is basic, yet spacious but very good and has everything you need. The bed was big and comfortable; a real plus. The pool is lovely; never busy. The outdoor cinema is only 5 minutes away which is a must thing to do. The hotel is quiet and relaxed with a wonderful atmosphere. It is very clean and well presented. A wonderful venue - made by Sophie and Jannis' attention to detail. And trying to make sure you have a wonderful stay. There seems to a lot of return customers which is a very good sign that the hotel is liked. People both young and old come to stay there. People from all over the world come there. The only thing is the distance to walk to and from the beach. It's about 10 minutes. But it is a nice walk and not even a major issue. But Santa Elena is a wonderful hotel to stay and enjoy Santorini. Sophie and Jannis are the most wonderful hosts who help make the stay memorable.

Positive: Very friendly staff. It has a quirky old fashioned feel which we loved. Great pool and great breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are very comfy.

Negative: It’s a bit of a walk to the beach but that makes it a very quiet and peaceful location.

Positive: Sophia and Iannis run this hotel the way hospitality is defined. With warmth, charm and a smile. They made my stay super nice, and the hotel had everything you need. From a clean room, to breakfast, which can also be eaten outside, a pool. The place is not "fancy", but it offers everything you need for sure.
