Summary: We had a very relaxing time at the location. There are wild peacocks in the area that can wake us up at times but we enjoy seeing them. It is a unique experience. A neighbor has rooster and chickens as well. Unfortunately previous guests had not been respectful to the place so the Peloton Bike was broken and peeling paint on ceiling in the kitchen from them leaving the windows open/air conditioning running. We love the location and being able to make our own meals. Close to beaches and quiet neighborhood overall. Owner was prompt in getting back to us when we had questions and comments.

Summary: We really wanted to like this place and, at first, we thought we would. It's in the lower mid range in price for a full house withba pool so we had realistic expectations for the neighborhood and property. It is in a mixed neighborhood with luxury properties and middle class homes side by side. Nothing wrong with that! The location is 6 minutes from.the airport, 10 minutes from St Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota. It was pleasant to bike and walk around and we appreciated the two bikes that came with the property. We also enjoyed the 3 sliding glass doors that opened to the screened sun room and pool area. It was lovely to have the house open like that. The AC and fans kept the house nice and cool. The kitchen is very small and outdated as are the floors/carpets and other interiors. The house was very clean but the floors, carpet in the sunroom, and couches are stained and worn. Other aspects of the house were not well maintained. The pool is nice enough and we enjoyed it but the hot tub never got past 98 degrees to the promised 103 degrees. We would have been happy at this property except for two things: the daily watering with automatic sprinklers that used untreated water that reeked of sulfur AND the roosters that lived next door that started crowing at 4am every morning. My parents live in Sarasota and I am aware that the sulfur smell of rotting organic matter affects the water. However, this was the worst experience I've had in over 10 years. The smell would get into the AC unit and cause the house to reek each time it kicked on. We requested to turn off the sprinklers as it rained off and on our entire trip and this request was denied. In addition to the roosters, there are peacocks in the neighborhood that make constant noise. Obviously the roosters and the peacocks are not the responsibility of the vrbo owner...but we feel that this should be noted on the listing. We literally were awake every morning listening to the roosters and peacocks from.4am until we got out of bed at 7 or 8. We also feel the damage deposit was excessive for this property. In all my other rentals, the vrbo offered insurance or a moderate deposit has been sufficient. Our family is respectful and considerate and we leave every property as we find it if not better.

Summary: We found the property exactly as described. Our family of adults and older teenagers had a wonderful time. We enjoyed all the house had to offer, especially the fully enclosed pool and spa in the quiet and beautifully landscaped backyard. Minor issues regarding spa remote were quickly addressed by the easy to talk to property management. The location is very idyllic. Just far away so that you can’t hear traffic from busy Tamiami Trail, at the same time close to reach gulf shore for spectacular sunsets, local shopping and dining- we had great dinners at the Wicked Cantina and Siegfrieds, Starbucks and Publix all close by. We biked around the neighborhood and also visited the Sarasota jungle Gardens on foot. Lovely place to spend a few hours. The Ringling Art and Circus Museum is a five minute car ride or 15 minute walk away , we also enjoyed that a lot. Lido key, with its beautiful Lido beach, and bustling St. Armand’s circle with all the shops, cafés, Gelateria’s, and restaurants is just 15 to 20 minutes by car, of course you hit some traffic coming off the island, but that is to be expected in Florida. We also enjoyed all the peacocks strolling through the neighborhood, but did not feed them, since enough neighbors are doing that on a regular base. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place, we hope to be back in the future!

Summary: We felt very comfortable here. Loved exploring here. Gorgeous bike rides in upscale area neighborhoods. Loved the architecture, the scenery, the peaceful vibe. The house is close to anything you may want to do within about 20 minutes. The beds were comfortable. We had an albino peacock visit the front yard daily. The gorgeous park (Sarasota Bay?) near Indian Beach Road was gorgeous. It felt very safe in the neighborhood. The owner had 2 bikes available for use and we needed another. We requested and it was fulfilled. Very kind. The only issue we had was that the hot tub remote didn't work for the first 7 days of our stay which was unfortunate.

Summary: We stayed with my 84 year old Mom. We felt very comfortable and loved the pool. We enjoyed the wild peacocks and other wildlife in the neighborhood. Many extras in all the drawers. We had a happy time there!

Summary: We stayed for the week with another couple. The house was well equipped with anything you might need. Great for cooking meals and relaxing out in the lanai. Walking distance to Sarasota Jungle Gardens and sunsets at the end of the road. We were in the perfect location to venture out and visit the surrounding area attractions. The house was very clean and comfortable and Marc was always available to answer any of our questions. We especially loved the neighborhood tropical birds.

Summary: This house was a great value for late March compared to other options. There is room for two couples with a bathroom for each. We really enjoyed the lanai with heated pool and spa. The kitchen is week equipped and there is a washer and dryer. The beach chairs and towels were very handy. Communication with the property manager was prompt even on the weekend. Nice value.
