Summary: This home was clean, well appointed and had fantastic views of the beautiful lake. Great place for our family to gather and enjoy the fall foliage. Owner was responsive and very accommodating. We'd definitely stay again!

Summary: We had a very enjoyable experience at this property. The decorating is very beachy and light. There are a lot of stairs to negotiate so if stair climbing is a challenge you might want to reconsider.

Summary: House was very nice, clean and comfortable. It is extremely relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the lake - peaceful and quiet. Dock is nice if you like to fish and use of kayaks was an extra bonus. The house is just around the corner from the raceway. I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: The house is beautifully positioned on a quiet lake with amazing views. It's 5 minutes to the track and 10 minutes to the restaurants and bars of Saratoga Springs. If you're looking for a short stay in the area with a quiet serenity - this is a great choice. Deke was great and checked in frequently to make sure things were going well. It's worth noting a few things: - The house has three beds, but only one real bedroom. This was fine for us, but would be very awkward for multiple couples or families. The other two beds are in an open loft with no door or wall between them. - Highly recommend this for a short stay; we stayed for a week which was tough as there wasn't a washer/dryer or a dishwasher. The stairs were tough because we packed a lot plus food. - Don't underestimate the stairs. Our three year old thought they were fun, but her grandmother found them a little tiresome despite being in great shape. - To be expected on a lake, but the beautiful deck and dock are fairly unusable in the summer nights because the bugs are so bad. However, the enclosed sunroom has great views and make for very relaxing views of sunrise and sunset.

Summary: Deke's home was absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. The cabin is very tastefully and thoughtfully designed with great aesthetics - it's very serene and has a soothing beach-house vibe. It felt very clean and well-maintained. The location was great - close to the (incredibly charming!) town but far enough away to feel very private. The home had everything we could need - extra linens, plenty of towels, fully stocked kitchen, etc. We absolutely loved being right on the lake and our group made great use of the kayaks and row boat Deke keeps at the house. We enjoyed taking the boat out to the middle of the lake, tying up some inner tubes, and floating for a couple of hours in the midst of the lovely scenery. Our favorite part may have been watching the sunsets down at the dock or from the lake room, which has stunning, uninterrupted panoramic views of the lake. Also, I should mention that the beds were INCREDIBLY comfortable... like a great hotel bed! We were a large group (12), and Deke was able to accommodate us by providing the cabin next door as well, so it felt like we had a whole compound to ourselves! Deke himself was warm, friendly, and considerate and very helpful with tips and suggestions. I would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone looking for a stay in Saratoga Springs! Thanks for a great time :)
