This Eco-friendly riad is located in the oasis of Skoura, on a 4-hectare farm. Set between the desert and the Atlas Mountains, it offers air-conditioned rooms, a sea water outdoor pool and a hammam. Guest rooms at the Sawadi are colorful and feature a traditional Moroccan décor. Each has an private bathroom with a shower, separate toilet and mosaic tiling. Rooms offer a view of the Atlas Mountains or the riad’s gardens. Breakfast is served each morning at Sawadi. The restaurant offers Moroccan food made with organic products from the farm and orchards surrounding the riad. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or on the terraces when the weather is nice. Additional features include table tennis as well as a volleyball, badminton and pétanque court. Tour excursions by foot, horse, bicycle, camel or local transport can be organized on site. Positive: Location, even though it's off-road actions to get there, the views of the Atlas Mountains are breathtaking. It's very quiet and remote.

Negative: The road to the hotel is uneven in parts. No drinking water in the room, and it felt awkward asking for it repeatedly and only being given a small bottle.

Positive: Sawadi Ecolodge is an oasis in the desert! 🌴☀️ The gardens are lush and beautifully maintained, the pool area is a great place to chill, there is a playground for kids, and a terrace with a view of the Atlas Mountains. The staff are incredibly kind, the rooms are lovely, and the food is delicious - made from fresh, local produce and made with care. It's the perfect stopping point between Marrakech and Merzouga.

Positive: This property is absolutely exceptional— so much love and care has been poured into this estate. We ended up sticking around almost all day and just relaxing— a welcome respite after lots of travel. The owner and staff were exceptional— breakfast was lovely, the rooms were fantastic, hot water with great pressure, and we even took advantage of the personal hamman. I would stay here for a full month and just sleep, read and write if I could.
