Summary: My boyfriend and I recently booked Sawmill Creek for two nights so we could visit Cedar Point. It exceeded our expectations every way. The grounds are lovely, and the hotel common spaces are so cozy. I heard it underwent a big renovation and it's clear they put in the work. The room was large, shower worked great, bed was very comfortable with a great pool view. I liked that it wasn't right up near the park, honestly - the short drive is nice and it made us try out a local diner. We didn't have enough time to try out the pool and hot tubs, but we did have apps, drinks, and dessert at Miller's Table which was also great. We will be back!

Summary: Due to the fact people were slamming doors and running up and down the hallways and just being loud overall will have me second guess staying at this location again. Impossible we were the only people annoyed with all the commotion outside our room.

Summary: We were celebrating our anniversary and had delicious dinner in dining room at hotel. The server was attentive, helpful with food choices and presented us with a free dessert. The outdoor grounds were inviting. Great choice for special occasion.

Summary: Hotel staff were very friendly and informative. The room was very nice and clean, and we definitely appreciated the cold A/C during the 90F heat-wave. The only negative I can think of is that our room was a decent hike from the front desk, but they did mention we came during a sold out weekend. Overall a great experience that was just minutes from Cedar Point.

Summary: We were there for our grandson’s baseball tournament at Sports Force Park. We stayed 4 nights. I really liked the property. Everything was new after a 2022 refurbishment. Beautiful setting. Several venues for food. 2 pools- one indoor and one outdoor. If you’re looking for a quiet place to stay don’t come here. Lots of families and young baseball players running around and dominating the pool. But we were there for that so it was fine. The only problem we had was not always having hot water, but they worked on it.

Summary: This was our 3rd time staying at Saw Mill. The new remodel is amazing! Everything looked clean, but there is an odor in the rooms that is not pleasant. I’m not sure if it is in the carpet or the a/c filters but it is an unpleasant sweaty sock odor. Many hotels have switched to lvp flooring that can be mopped clean. Removing the carpet might remedy that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Dirty bedding, asked for new, received right away. Very thin walls. Service was amazing, staff was great. Seems like Management/Owners overlook details and care to meet bottom line. Everything (minus staff) was cheap except the price of the stay.

Summary: Overall good experience. We only stayed overnight. Went to bed pretty early to leave early. Front desk told us we were charged $28 for frozen daiquiris which blew our minds because we didn’t eat or drink anything while staying on the property. They said they’d clear the charge, but we will see in a few days.

Summary: Good place to stay if you are visiting Cedar Point. Overpriced for what it is. Parking near the room was hard to find during the weekend. The outdoor pool was nice, except for lots of rowdy young kids running the show.
