Summary: The Scandic hotels pride themselves on being very directive. i.e. hang your towel on the hook, we won’t clean your room unless you ask us etc I found the room utilitarian. No carpet, so cold underfoot. No ability to control bathroom light which lit the room like a stadium when you walked through the door. So using it at night when you’re mostly still asleep and would prefer to stay that way is an eye opening experience. Bathroom had no towel bars, just aforementioned hooks so wet towels stayed damp. No washcloths, just hand towels. No shelves to put your stuff on just a weird ladder thing from IKEA. No shower mat and no grab bar in shower. I think they should have all those things given the price. Upside was enormous breakfast buffet and nice staff.
