This remote lodge like setting is the perfect getaway for a family gathering, a honeymoon getaway, or a corporate retreat. The location of our lodge overlooks the Illinois River with breathtaking views and privacy. This is set up as a 6 bedroom, 4 bath lodge that can sleep up to 16 people. The open floor plan offers a full service kitchen with two refrigerators, a dinning room, a living room, and bonus room with oversized picture windows that overlook the Illinois River bottoms. Each bedroom has its own tv as well as two tvs in the main room of the lodge. The lodge also has wifi internet. We have an additional outbuilding that can be used for meetings. We also offer a covered patio with two grills for cooking and entertaining. There is a firepit that sits up above both buildings which is the perfect place to unwind for the evening. The patio and deck offer a breathtaking view, or relax in the hot tub with the same view. There is an additional building on site which can sleep up to another 5 guests. We are less than 15 minutes from the Heartland Lodge atv park and we offer plenty of space to park trailers and equipment.

Summary: This property was amazing. The views of the river were great. It worked out very well for our large family to meet and enjoy the holidays without feeling like we were crowded. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. It was also a bonus that this home away from home for the weekend was pet friendly. There was a phenomenal amount of space for them to run around. With the large open concept of the kitchen and living area, it worked out perfectly in order to be able to let the little ones roam without worrying about where they were. They were in our sights at all times. I absolutely LOVED this rental and would definitely stay again. I believe that every one of our guests feel the same way. Thank You for sharing your rental with us.

Summary: I gathered here with a group of friends to celebrate our Fantasy Football league's 11th anniversary. It was a great spot for a group of dudes to hangout for a weekend and enjoy the beautiful countryside. This cabin is bigger than it lets on in the pictures, and it has everything you could possibly need. It has 16 beds, a large living area, spacious kitchen & multiple TVs across several rooms. It even had REALLY good internet/wifi considering the location. There is a fire pit out back and two grills (gas/smoker). FYI bring your own pellets for the smoker, but propane was provided to us. The land is on a hill which give good cell signal and a stunning view. There's plenty of room to throw a football around or play outdoor yard games. Be careful driving up the hill to the property though. We had a really good time at this serene location at the top of the hill. The view was amazing, and the cabin was so cool. I would come back again.

Summary: Myself and a few guy friends were looking for a quiet place to relax away from the craziness of the big city and Coronavirus madness. This place offered separate bedrooms for all 6 of us and we were stunned at how large and amazing this place really is. Some bedrooms have windows and some do not. I really liked this mix as I sleep in later usually and had a nice dark room to sleep later, while my early bird friends got windows and woke up with the daylight. The buildimgs are hiding on top of a bluff overlooking the river and town/farmland down below. Also great views of the classic old railroad bridge still in use today that lifted and lowered a few times during our stay. We had gas and pellet BBQ's and were even surprised to find a deep fryer. This is a guy's trip dream come true! Very very clean place. We spent the first half hour looking around amazed at how much we got for our money. We also immediately wanted to come back with the wives and GF's on another trip sometime soon as we were amazed at how nice it truly was. - You won't have a huge city with everything you need right next door (I'm from a big city) but there's a decently equipped gas station at the bottom of the hill and we loaded up on supplies on our way to the location. There's a great fire pit on top of the hill and wood to burn though we spent much of our time under a very spacious garage overhang as we did catch a lot of rain during our trip. Made for great views and relaxation outside as the storms moved through. This place seems to mainly be a hunting lodge and it seems we caught it in the off season for a fantastic deal. Lots of little creature comforts we weren't expecting to find all over. Really can't say enough. Bang for buck this place is out of this world! Great for a guys trip or even if you want to bring your spouse or teens or little children. This place really can cater to all with many bunk beds and a terrific atmosphere. A+!
