Positive: First of course, we liked the hosts, communicative and helpful. Then, the dining area, kitchen, living room and bath room were well equipped and nicely appointed. Everything was available for cooking nice meals and a few sweets were presented for extra comfort. Hot water in the shower was consistent and plentiful. The Wifi Signal was very good (there is a router in the living room). The apartment no doubt has old world charm.
Negative: What let the property down for us was the bedroom. It was small in size but that can't be helped. However, the bed was too small for mature and older adults, especially for my tall partner. The mattress was very hard and caused us pain and heaps of partner disturbance so that we didn't get much of a good night sleep. Further, we can't recall to see the many stairs mentioned in the description and had no clue that the apartment was situated in an attic which we think should be well advertised because older folks with a lot of luggage (like us on a 5 months world trip from down under) might not have selected this in Eisenach. We tend to choose ground floor rooms and /or apartments. Having said all this it was an absolute pleasure to meet and chat with Gerda and Herbert, the host Rocco's parents who live on the ground floor of the building. Thank you.

Positive: The house was clean and cosy. It matched well the pictures and the overall presentation. The owner reacted promptly when we told him about an issue we found (previous guests had a dog). For people with animals, this is not an issue. The communication with the owner was excellent. The location is easy to find and accessible... if one owns a car. It is not far from the main train station.
Negative: Well. the only con is the fact that the blanket mentioned above was left in the apartment. Except for this, everything was excellent.
