Want to ski or board? You are seven miles from Northstar ski resort or sixteen from Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. Golf? Well you can watch players try to punch their way out of the 7th hole sand trap from the deck or take the short walk to the clubhouse and play yourself.
The Tahoe/Truckee region is an incredible playground of superlative beauty, the destination of travelers from all over the globe.
Ski or board on world class slopes, hike the majestic mountain and forest trails, marvel at the sublime beauty of Lake Tahoe, or walk to the Schaffer’s Mill golf course, from this home you are immersed in the middle of it all.

This mountain homes was beautifully designed and furnished with high end furniture from Restoration Hardware. Over $200,000 in upgrades were also added to this home when it was built in 2014, from custom cabinetry, Wolf and sub zero appliances, and hardwood flooring to a Sonos sound system throughout the top two floors. Windows throughout the townhome provide plenty of light, views and a feeling of connection with the outside complimented by high ceilings and a large vaulted main gathering area which combines the living room, dinning room and kitchen in one large open space.
Off the main floor a large deck overlooks the slopes at Northstar and forested ridge lines.
The condo has 4 floors- a two car garage and mud room on the first floor, then up a half flight of stairs is the second floor with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king sized bed and walk in closet. The bathroom has a contemporary walk in shower, deep bath tub as well as his and hers sinks. A door in the master leads outside to the fire pit and beyond. The other bedroom offers a queen bed, closet and walk in shower with sink. Down the hall another half bathroom sits adjacent to the laundry room equipped with a large capacity washer and dryer.
Another half flight of stairs up and you’ve entered the main living area -- this first impression was why I immediately decided to purchase the home when I first climbed the stairs. High vaulted ceilings tower over the living room which is continuous in one large open space with the kitchen and dining room. The living room has a the gas fireplace, four exquisite swivel chairs and large deep couch—the ample space provides room for all. Off this main area is a large deck with fantastic views at one end perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the mourning or star gazing at night. At the other end of the main room a door leads outside to a flight of stairs and an outdoor fire pit.
Up the last half flight of stairs and you’re on the top floor with it’s own bathroom complete with his and hers sinks and walk in shower. A nook area with a huge leather couch and large flat screen TV as well as a high top table that sits 4 is also found on this cozy floor. The bedroom up here is one the kids will love as the sturdy built in bunk beds can sleep 6, they also have their own mounted television.
