Positive: Due to picking our daughter up from the train station combined with heavy traffic we were going to be late arriving at School Farm. Debbie the host had messaged earlier with contact details to notify her should this be the case and when we advised her that we would be running late it wasn’t a problem at all. Upon arrival we received a lovely warm welcome. Debbie was extremely patient and accommodating whilst we sorted who was going to have which room. She has the patience of a saint and was extremely accommodating in helping us with the logistics which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast orders were taken for the following morning with a laid back attitude to what we might like. We were pointed in the direction of the local pub for a couple of drinks which rounded off the days travelling nicely. Breakfast was fabulous, plenty of tea, coffee, juice, cereal plus a gorgeously plentiful fruit platter followed by an array of breakfasts. Two of us had a full English, consisting of locally produced ingredients, one beans and tomatoes on toast, a creamy porridge and two of us had smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious, plenty of toast and Debbie’s homemade plum jam. The rooms were clean and very comfortable with everything needed. We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding at Coombe Lodge, School Farm is the perfect location if you have an event there. Another fabulous breakfast the second morning. I originally thought that the price was quite high for a b&b but the six of us staying all agreed that it was worth every penny for the lovely rooms, great breakfasts and especially our hosts. Thank you both for a lovely break away.
Negative: The winding narrow lane that the sat nav took us down unnecessarily. Don’t turn the sharp left when directed, carry straight on and you’ll avoid it and get there just as quickly without the worry of an oncoming vehicle.

Positive: Breakfast was exceptional. Many of the foods were local which we really appreciated. Debbie and Nigel were very friendly and sociable and even gave us lifts to and from the venue where the wedding was being held. They were very knowledgeable about the local area which was interesting as we hadn't visited Blagdon before. The room was very comfortable too, with tea, water and biscuits all provided.
Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to friends.

Positive: Debbie was very helpful and was able to help with taxi arrangements to Coombe Lodge taking stress out of getting to and from wedding venue.Also breakfast was superb...homemade marmalade and lime sauce were exceptional....tastefully decorated location and hosts very welcoming ...my partner and I would stay again.
