The location is ideal- about 1 mile from The Big Chill on 30A and minutes to Rosemary and Alys Beach! Boasting private, gated beach access and a seasonally heated community pool, Magnolia Cottages by the Sea is sure be the perfect peaceful beach vacation! Private Beach access is 500 yards away for guests who rent chairs and umbrellas through Shawns Beach Service only. Personal chairs and umbrellas are prohibited at the private beach.

The Big Chill offers something for folks of all ages and tastes, from tacos and tequila, to wings, burgers and shakes, a stop here is quick, tasty and convenient, and comes with a side of entertainment at the outdoor amphitheater. It's a great place to catch a concert, sporting event, or a movie on the lawn.
The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Grouper Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 970 feet out from the Inlet Beach access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Grouper Reef is at a depth of 12-21 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Summary: This house was in the perfect location and the perfect size for our family. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. We loved how close to the beach it was and the neighborhood was so nice and quiet. The only thing is I wish it had beach equipment such as chairs, towels and toys since we live out of town it’s not feasible for us to bring that. You have to rent the chairs to sit on the “private” beach but with 6 in our family that wasn’t an expense we were willing to pay so we just walked down the beach a bit and the “public” beach was still not crowded and a perfect location.

Summary: Location was short walk to beach. Bike trail to everything a block away. Layout was great for 4 adults (can hold more). House was well stocked, clean, and in quiet area. Bike path easy bike to restaurants and shops.

Summary: This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. It took about 4 minutes to get to the beach! RealJoy immediately answered my questions! Food choices are excellent. We definitely recommend getting the key lime pie at Paradis! After not traveling for 3 years, it was exactly what the doctor ordered! We will return!!!

Summary: This house offered the perfect place for a family beach trip. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach and the cottage was spacious enough for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed. The space was quiet and relaxing.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. This was first time to area and lots of family friendly things to do. The beach is a short and comfortable (<5 minute) walk across the street. We brought our bikes and had fun riding along the coast on bike path. There are also plenty of affordable bike rentals. The Hub was fun at night for all ages and just a short ride on bikes.

Summary: Cottage location was great. When we checked in, there was a layer of dust on all the countertops, stove, etc that required wiping down. Dryer did not dry clothes our entire stay, even with putting in a maintenance request, because the vent was completely clogged. Turn around time for maintenance to come was too long and unsure if someone ever showed up since the dryer still didn’t work when we left. Washer would become off balance if you put more than 2-3 towels in at once. We have stayed in the Magnolia Cottages for several years and other management companies seem to have better maintenance and cleaning services than what we experienced.

Summary: Staying in a house is so nice. No people walking above you and no stairs to climb. The walk to the beach wasn't bad but there are about 55 steps down to the beach from the boardwalk. The parking is a little tight. The screened in back porch was my saving grace from my loud family :). Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a first...so very nice.
