THE PROPERTY: Enjoy your stay in the tropics at Sea Conch, part of the highly touted "Queen Conch" complex, which includes 3 separate rentable units: Sea Conch, Horse Conch, and Rooster Conch. You can rent each unit separately or rent “Queen Conch” to enjoy all 3 units and ultimate privacy during your Key West vacation.
Sea Conch can be accessed via the home’s charming front porch where you can enjoy morning coffee or people watching. Sea Conch also includes your own covered back deck that overlooks the shared pool and courtyard area. The pool is shared with the two second floor units in this home - "Horse Conch" and "Rooster Conch."
Upon entering your vacation home, you will be delighted by the natural light, hardwood floors, cheerful Key West décor, and the work of local artists. The open concept living room area is large and includes pops of color, a flat screen TV, and plenty of seating for you and your guests. A white kitchen with subway tile, stainless steel appliances and an abundance of cabinets is fully equipped and offers all the amenities of home. A drum chandelier and a large dining table with seating for eight complement the area. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living via the double French doors that open onto your covered deck and provide direct access to the pool area.
Each bedroom has an ensuite bath, bedside tables with lamps, ceiling fan, closet, and dresser storage. Each ensuite bath has a large pedestal sink and tiled walk-in shower. Don’t delay, come out of your ‘shell’, and rent the stunning Sea Conch today!
BED CONFIGURATION: One bedroom contains a king size bed and TV; the second bedroom has a queen size bed and TV. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The complex boasts lush tropical landscaping and palm trees. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. The pool area is adorned with a dining table, umbrellas, and loungers. A shared gas grill allows you to cook your catch of the day! A shared washer/dryer is in a shed on the left side of the home near the pool.
PARKING: Sea Conch offers 1 designated off street parking spot for 1 vehicle.
LOCATION: Many Key West attractions are located nearby, as well as numerous restaurants, shops, and galleries. The neighborhood boasts historic homes, shotgun, and conch-style homes. Enjoy café con leche down the street at Cuban Coffee Queen or combine it with lunch at 5 Brothers Sandwich Shop. Walk to dinner or drinks at Blue Heaven, Caroline’s Cafe, Fogarty's, Irish Kevin’s, or Sloppy Joe's. You will have many choices located within a 10-minute walk!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 4 people and rented the bottom unit in May. The interior is exactly like the photos and you're instantly in Key West vacation mood. The backyard pool area is gorgeous and we drank coffee out there in the mornings and were tempted back there every afternoon for a few hours of glorious pool time between checking out the town and sights. Loved the convenient location and we did not have any close-by roosters crowing. Upstairs neighbors were friendly and we shared tips on what to do in KW. I suspect, due to the not-low-budget accommodations, that this house doesn't attract the young partying crowd. A couple of tips: there are some mosquitoes at night but we found a bunch of bug spray under the kitchen sink. Bring hair conditioner - it's not provided and the shampoo is only enough for a couple of days if you have women using it :), also living room chairs are too stiff, not comfy, but couch is fine. I would highly recommend for all the reasons the previous Reviewers gave and I hope I can go back because, even though Key West is tiny, there's "still so much to be done" and we weren't able to visit the Dry Tortugas this trip!

Summary: This is a fabulous property, with everything you could need in an excellent location….mid way on the island and couple blocks off Duval so easy walking and no noise. We have stayed here before and will come back again. The backyard is like an Oasis!

Summary: My family had an amazing stay at the Sea Conch! First, the kitchen was the best-stocked of any vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Blender, toaster, skillets and pans in different sizes, even an electric griddle, decent knives, and a super clean fridge. Second the pool! The outdoor spaces here are top-notch. Front porch for people watching, gorgeous landscaped backyard and pool for privacy. Last, the location. We could easily walk to nearly everything we wanted to see: Duval Street, KW cemetery, shops, and restaurants. Yet far away enough that it was quiet and relaxing. Can't say enough positive things about this spot!

The location was amazing, close to all the shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of nearly everything. The parking space next to the house was also phenomenal. The inside was charming, spacious, and very comfortable. Our children loved the heated pool out back and we spent many evenings enjoying the beautiful trees and plants and cozy covered patio out back. It was just wonderful.

We love it for its space, location, pool. I gave some very small maintenance suggestions by text as we were leaving. When we got home we found that all our clothes and luggage smelled like mold. We had to wash everything and spray the luggage. I didn't smell it while there, but we only really slept there as we where there for the races and out all day till late at night. Maybe the AC system needs to be cleaned and replace filters. I have already recommended the property and my friends tried for the upstairs units. Now I don't know if I could recommend it now.

The only downside was when there were tenants upstairs, as you could here them walking (or running kids) over your head. We would definitely stay here again.
