Positive: Sea Pickle Cottage is an absolute gem – a lovely, cosy place with a rustic wooden style that makes you feel right at home. There’s loads of natural light, and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed – all the pots, pans, and utensils – really well organised and easy to use. The fireplace was a great bonus, with free log wood provided, which made the evenings extra cosy. There were clear instructions for how to use everything, which was super helpful. We also loved the TV with Netflix and other streaming apps – perfect for chilling in the evening. There were loads of board games too, which made it even more fun. The cottage is in a really quiet and safe area, and there’s a peaceful river flowing just behind it – the views were beautiful and calming. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back!

Negative: The only minor downside was the heating in the bedrooms, which is set on a timer and couldn’t be adjusted manually. At times, it did feel a bit restrictive, especially during chillier night periods.

Summary: A peaceful and beautifully kept cottage that offered everything we needed.

Positive: Really exceptional well decorated and maintained inside and out and so quiet .. a perfect retreat for a couple or small family ..?Will visit again

Negative: About the cottage nothing But access and parking is tricky Neighbours are friendly and helpful Wi-Fi was sporadic but you can chill in other ways .. lots of books and games provided
