The Sea Shell condo is located in the cozy 19 unit Sunset Cottages complex on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It is โ€œGulf Sideโ€, just over 200 steps from the sand, no roads to cross, youโ€™ll be relaxing on the beach in minutes!
The Sea Shell is a 2nd floor condo accessed by steps (no elevator) with partial gulf views from the dining room, great room balcony, and bedroom balcony. Inside there is a spacious 750 sq.ft. for you to lounge and relax which includes; large great room, large bedroom and bath, condo complex was built in 2000. The dรฉcor reminds you of the soft relaxing colors of the sand and sea, and of course Sea Shells.
The large great room includes a spacious fully equipped kitchen, dining area with a dining table that seats up to 6 people, and living area. The living area includes a queen-size sleeper sofa, loveseat, and 50" Smart TV (mentioned above). It also has two large windows and french doors opening onto a second balcony with a partial view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The large bedroom has its own private additional entrance to the bathroom, its own private balcony with partial Gulf view, a king-size bed with an amazingly comfortable plush/pillow-top mattress, 32" HDTV, DVD player and Cox Contour Voice Remote System w/ DVR and On Demand. There is a spacious hallway with built-in twin bunk beds with sliding curtains for more privacy for the anyone sleeping in the bunk area.
The condo has a Maximum Occupancy of 6 people, with a Maximum of 4 Adults (18 years old and above).
The unit is equipped with washer, dryer, blow dryer, ironing board, and iron. Many other basic supplies are provided for your comfort and convenience.
The Sunset Cottages complex has a private seasonally heated pool, pool area restrooms, outside shower, and a large deck area with two built-in grills for chillin and grillin.
The Sea Shell is located less than 10 miles from both Eglin and Hurlburt Air Force Bases.
The Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is just 11 miles away and Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is 47 miles away from the Sea Shell.
Best of all the condo is located just minutes away from great family entertainment including: amusement parks, boating excursions, charter fishing, Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, golf, go-carts, The Gulfarium, mini-golf, parasailing, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Harborwalk Village entertainment, restaurants, shops, and fishing harbor in Destin, scuba and snorkeling, watercraft rentals, Big Kahuna's Water Park and some of the best restaurants and seafood anywhere!

Summary: Overall, everything was excellent highly recommended. The only issue we had was the air conditioning would cut off at 1:30 in the morning and we would get warm but great host great location very safe.

Summary: Me, my husband and two children (ages 11 & 1) came to Ft Walton for the World Series. The Cottage was exactly like the pictures described. We felt so at home. I love that everything was labeled in the kitchen. You didnโ€™t have to hunt the pots and pans down. The washer and dryer was a plus. Towels and bed linen were really clean. What I like most was that the Cottages there self werenโ€™t big and no crazy parking like the others around us. The beach was a small walk on the side of building. They had chairs and umbrellas already set up with the cottage name on the back of chair. The owner was really nice and called to make sure we had everything we needed or any requests. She also gave us food recommendations to try. All in all I give this a 1000! We will definitely go back again.

Summary: Nice play to stay with a great location to the beach. The owner was very prompt to resolve any issues. They need to add to the property description what floor the condo is on and that there is no elevator.

Summary: We had a great time at Sea Shells. The condo is very nicely updated, it is spacious with everything you need for your stay. Quiet complex with an excellent pool and outdoor area just steps from the beach. We will be back!!!!

Summary: We had a fabulous, wonderful, awesome, sunny, fun-filled vacation. We swam, shopped, boated, ate...a lot. The condo was just as pictured on Vrbo. Perfect!! The door code was nice as we didnโ€™t have to think if we had a key/card with us. It was a quick walk down to the beach and the sand was amazing. Lisa called to check on us, as Hurricane Delta was gearing up in the Gulf of Mexico, which was very thoughtful. Best vacation ever! We look forward to coming back๐ŸŒด Dianne & Kathy Oct. 3/7 2020
