Positive: New air-conditioning provides a rapid cool down. Double bed comfortable enough. Although the room is quite small the bathroom itself has loads of space. A daily tariff of 600 Baht makes this one of the least expensive options near the Donsai pier area. Obviously very close to hundreds of pubs, clubs, restaurants etc. Noise level low. The apartments are more or less cabins. Certainly not high quality furnishings but covers the basics and does the job for the budget conscious for a few mights in Phi Phi.
Negative: The door and window shut lines were not quite tight enough to completely seal the room from the outside heat. However, the air con kept the room cool enough, so only a minor problem.
