Positive: From the moment I heard from Bernie & Michael I knew I booked the best spot for my family. The welcoming texts message and greetings we received put a huge smile on our faces. They thought of everything. The huge welcome basket filled with delicious Irish goodies, milk, butter, and jam in the fridge for us. They are beyond welcoming. So helpful with wonderful with travel tips. (we saw the dolphins on the River Shannon. Thank you for that tip.) The view from the sunroom is amazing. It was a wonderful experience. I would recommend to friends and family.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Bernie and Micheal’s house. It was super quiet, spacious, warm and in a gorgeous location surrounded by fields with the sea in the distance. We had spent the day driving and so when we arrived to a warm house, scented candles and the largest hamper of goodies we were so grateful. The accommodation had a homely feel from the decor, the bedding and towels and the thoughtful personal touches such as toiletries, books, films, games and a radio/dvd player, The kitchen was lovely to cook in with utensil’s, cooking oils, teas, coffee. We really appreciated the thorough welcome pack with maps and information about the rich diversity of things to do in Co Clare. We also really appreciated the communication. We let them know that one of us had gluten and lactose intolerance and they provided two loaves of bread and some lactose free milk. Bernie and Michael were very happy for us to text them with questions during our stay and they responded with recommendations swiftly. As they live next door any issues were dealt with straightaway. You will need a car at this location but that probably goes without saying. It's between Enystimon and Millton Malbay both of which were lovely towns with good pubs, restaurants and music sessions. On our last day we also treated ourselves to assassin at the Falls Hotel spa suite with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room etc. Thank-you both, we will be returning to Seaview cottage the next time we visit Co Clare.

Positive: Seaview Hideaway is home away from home .Bernie and Michael were fabulous hosts and had a welcome pack there to greet us.Willow their beautiful Golden retriever was most welcoming and loved the belly rubs. The view is fantastic from the conservatory and the house has everything that anyone could possibly need .We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Seaview Hideaway as a destination for holidays.

Positive: On entering the property, we all experienced a real 'wow' effect. It was beautifully furnished and the view from the kitchen and conservatory looked across the fields towards the Cliffs of Moher in the distance. We experienced some beautiful sunsets during our stay in this lovely quiet place. Our hosts were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to enhance our stay.

Negative: Our initial information given by Sykes Holiday Cottages was that the bungalow was near Miltown Malbay, whereas it is closer to Ennistimon. Without the Eircode provided by our hosts, it would have been difficult to find. We did not expect to be so far away from the nearest town. However, that did not detract from our enjoyment.

Summary: This is a beautiful, quiet property set in a rural location

Positive: This is an adorable cottage with great furnishings & every accoutrement to make our stay perfect. The cottage was spotless and so cozy. The hosts provided us with an abundant hamper of goodies for our stay - a much appreciated surprise! The scenery from the sunroom looks like an Irish movie set. We were treated to several rainbows over the bay there which added to the pleasure of our stay.

Negative: Not a thing.
