Summary: First of all the Villa was beautiful. The cleaniness and check in was excellent. Waking up every morning and sitting by the pool is breathtaking! Svetlana was really helpful when we asked what was nearby etc. Sĥe also provided a very reliable taxi man for getting into Lindos. Thank you to Svetlana and Tamara for accommodating all of us.

Summary: We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ellada. The property is exactly as advertised and was immaculately clean and in a very good state of repair. The facilities are great and in terms of equipment etc there was nothing missing. Svetlana, as property manager, was exceptional. Unfortunately, the recent wildfires were threatening to cut our stay short and we received eviction notices from the authorities. However, Svetlana kept us fully appraised of the situation on a regular basis. When we had temporarily lost electricity and water supply due to the fires she even offered to let us use another property. Couldn't possibly ask for more and Svetlana was the icing on the cake of what was a fabulous stay.

Summary: The pictures and description of the villa accurately tell you everything about the property - plus close by to Lindos is the place to be on Rhodes. Svetlana, the host, provides helpful eating and visit suggestions and is quick to respond to messages. All in all, excellent! What about other helpful stuff? The pool temperature was 80-84 F (26-29 C) in early July. The depth (135 cm throughout) is not ideal for small children The kitchen is recently refitted and all the appliances are modern. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The local supermarket is best driven to – plus the Zucchero patisserie next door is superb. The walk to the beach takes about 7-8 mins – the property description is right there. The problem is the walk back up. The hill has a 25% gradient in places. It's steep! The villa's outside space is fantastic, either in the evening or just escaping the sun. There is an outdoor fridge. The barbecue needs charcoal – too fiddly and messy for us The Wi-Fi easily coped with 5 people and covers the outside space as well as the upstairs. It is ineffective in the downstairs bedrooms Parking for 2 cars max In the local bay, stick to the southern end. The GAEA restaurant and Azzurro kitchen bar are great for any meal. The public toilets on the beach there are clean. Sunbeds can be hired for €9 each per day or €15 each in a cabana – that’s half the price of St Paul’s Bay (a rip-off). The beach is shingle but sandy once in the sea. There are good water sports options

Summary: We stayed for a week in late May. The weather was not the best but the pool was always lovely and warm with the heating. There was plenty of shade around the pool and the outside kitchen was amazing. It was great for evening BBQs and the little ones could go to bed. We found a car to be essential so we could drive to the supermaket. The hill is very steep down to the beach but we drove and there was plenty of parking. We did not use the beach as the pool was so nice. Svetlana the host was so helpful and responded to all my questions very quickly. We would love to go again in the future.

Summary: As a family of 5 we stay in villas every year, this villa is one of the best so far. We were a little early for the season so a lot of places were closed and the island was very quite, but that is how we like our May holiday to be. I can imagine in season the villa is very well placed for everything the island has too offer, Lindos really is 5 minutes away and so is the supermarket. Everything at the villa is clean, well kept and offers an amazing space to enjoy the sun and the island. The pool is properly heated and we were able to swim in comfort even on the cloudy/rainy days. The owner is amazing and was so helpful whilst we were there, thankyou svetlana
