Positive: The view is incredible! Walking distance to town for restaurants and shopping. I was worried at first that it might be a steep climb to town every day but it was so gradual, I didn't even notice it.
Negative: The furniture is more antique style so not necessarily the sink into it comfortable kind but it adds to the charm.

Positive: Spectacular view to the Lyttelton Harbour. Interesting and creative decoration in the house. I enjoyed my stay just relaxing and walking to the town centre and restaurants. Frances was lovely host and took care of my wishes.
Negative: There’s busy road just next to the terrace. If you’re sensitive to the noise, it might be disturbing. It wasn’t problem for me and bedroom was quiet.
Summary: Awesome stay in this lovely and inspiring place.

Positive: I have been a fan of act. I have to say, this house is an masterpiece of art. You can feel the owner spend a lot of time and effects in every detail, every coner of the house. You are not only spend a night for a simple stay but also an amazing visit to a art museum. If one day, i am going to build my own house for my wife, i will consult with the house owner. Trust me it is much worthwhile than you think.

Positive: Lovely little cottage overlooking a small marina and working harbour. We enjoyed the views and location very much. Great walking distance to Lyttleton village where we enjoyed markets, delicious food and great drinks.
Negative: Just a small caution to those who might mind that the cottage is on a busy corner - with tanker trucks driving to and from the port. The cottage is however well insulated but sitting outside in the lovely garden might be an issue for some.
Summary: Excellent! Kind and helpful owner! Cutest cottage ever but be cognizant of busy road
