Summary: I don’t think were all inclusive people. Check in was okay, they only gave me a map of the property after I asked, no one shows you around. Except for Giovanni at the front desk and one of the female servers in Jasmine were friendly. Outside of that, the hotel staff act as if you’re bothering them. You can't keep track of all of the different times the different restaurants were open and some if them, never. We were lucky enough to walk off property to Bollywood restaurant one night and have a delicious meal. We had a dinner reservation and couldnt get to it because the road was closed for a race for 3 hours and no one at the hotel even mentioned. We also got out to Sugar Hill a very nicw restaurant at a golf club, amazing food and service. The cherry on top was when I wernt to check out, I put my key on the front desk and started to leave and the woman working the front desk said very rudly, 'you're going to have to wait to check out'! I worked in hotels for 7 years and if i ever spoke to a guest like she spoke to me, i would have been written up or fired. I think there's a lot of choices to stay in Montego Bay that are not this.

Summary: Check in was an ordeal no semblance of any order? Locals bypassed any line and were taken care of first? I didn't have a working safe in the oceanfront room so I was informed there was a hotel safe or told the only person that goes in the room is housekeeping!! Stayed there a couple of nights to be closer to the airport for an early departure! Arranged with tour desk for my ride @ 6:30 am! They never showed up ? After verbalizing my dilemma I finally had to get the front desk to give the Bellman keys to one if the cars parked in front of the hotel!He was nice enough to take us to the airport! Thank goodness I was able to make my flight! Finally the property is beautiful, beach area across the street is fabulous but starting at Sunset locals congregate with their vehicles loud music shouting so never got to use the balcony and despite using earplugs didn't sleep for the entire 2 night stay ! I was told you have to call the "front desk" so they can alert Security and have the local authorities remove them!! I called twice a few hours apart because they left and came back!!! Needless to say after 20+ trips to Negril I'd rather take the long ride to the airport then stay in Montego Bay again!!

Summary: Very relaxing quiet resort. The lagoon ocean beach area is so ice and safe. The jerk chicken on the beach is great. Helpful staff and great wait staff in the restaurant. Excellent omelets in the morning. My 3rd visit . Will definitely return.

Summary: SeaGarden is jewel by the sea, with almost everything we need in a long-weekend getaway. We had the special opportunity to experience "Jamaica Day" (Feb. 28) this trip--the dinner buffet/desserts were exceptional! (I didn't know what a fresh baked gizzada tasted like, as store bought are usually a week old -- this one melted in my mouth! A big thank you to the pastry chefs!) We're breakfast people, even on holiday, and appreciated the omelet bar/buffet with corned beef and curry chicken. The banana bread/carrot bread are delicious, too. Thursday night we enjoyed the piano bar from 6-7pm. On Monday night we went again, this time for appetizers, as it was Manager's Special night. (Speaking of appetizers, we noticed them appearing at the pool bar from 6-7pm, which was great, as the dinner buffet opens at 7pm and we're used to eating dinner closer to 5:30pm at home.) We drink a lot of water and liked filling our own bottles with filtered cold water at two locations -- inside the dining room (back corner before you exit to the restrooms) and inside left front corner of the pool bar. Thanks for this! SeaGarden maintains a lovely property. This time the tennis courts were being resurfaced. In the meantime, we found exercise by snorkeling in the bay, walking the beach, working out in the fitness room and through various activities in the game room (both located near the pool bar). (Only one negative comment -- room temp water in our sink/shower, no hot. Couldn't be fixed.)

Summary: I would say it was amazing. The service was great. It's a little slower than what we're used to in the United States, but all the same pretty good. Check-in Ms. Kassandra and Ms. Claudia truly amazing. They need a raise. The food was great compared to anywhere else at any other resort that we've eaten at in jamaica. There are no elevators but there are a bunch of rooms on the ground floor and 2nd floor. Hotel was very boutique-y and vintage, but in a good way. I will definitely come back. Planning on bringing the kids next spring break. The beach and the accessibility to shops and attractions were great. Everything within walking distance. Most of the locals are helpful, but you still have to be mindful of scams with taxis and watch out for female drivers. They seem to be the ones. That I use to run the most scams. The older ladies help us around the city, it gives a real community sense of community. We bought local with the local vendors first before going to any commercial businesses. And they were great felt safe for the most part, but I am a New Yorker, so it is about the same environment/ culture. Vendors were pushy, but polite, so a simple no, thank you and continuing to walk on by works well. Tips are not necessary, but are appreciated.One u s dollar goes a long way.
