Positive: Joyce is a wonderful soul. She was so helpful and made the entire check-in process seamless. I was contacted days before I checked in and she kept me up to date, even letting me know about the immigration eTA. She helped to facilitate everything from the airport pickup to information about fun place to enjoy my weekend. She is a 10/10 for customer services and makes you feel welcomed and at home

Positive: Excellent location. Near restaurants and supermarkets. Loved the pool. 10mins walk to the Frigate Strip. AC & wifi was great. Joyce was very helpful and communication with her was excellent. Would stay there again.
Negative: The spiral staircase. Not great if you have mobility issues.
Summary: Great 4 night stay.

Positive: Good location to explore St Kitts. Easy access to local restaurants and small supermarket. Nice pool. Extremely comfortable bed on top floor. Kitchen is well equipped and there is an efficient washing machine & drier on the ground floor. Good and easy communication with managing agent who kindly agreed early check-in and late check-out.
Negative: Our unit, no.6, was tired and in need of an update. The bathroom is particularly tired. The toilet for some reason is extremely low! There were a couple of leaks in the unit when it rained. Despite having air con and fans it was difficult to cool the place down. The sofa is a bit uncomfortable and needs replacing. For these reasons we felt the unit was a bit over-priced.

Positive: The loft was nice. I wish there were vacuums on the island, but I understand they re rare there. The beach there wasn't accessible, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Apparently you can visit the beach at Marriott, but I wasn't aware of that. The over all, home stay loft was great for my family. I'd stay again, if I ever visit again.
Negative: No beach access.

Positive: Well equipped with 2 bedrooms and shower/toilet upstairs and additional shower/toilet at ground level. Views of the sea from the balcony. Joyce was very helpful with an office nearby. Good bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Negative: It is next to the seafront but there is no beach here. The beach at Timothy Bay is a 10 minute walk away. Taxis are quite expensive so a rental car is recommended to get around beyond the immediate area. Bedding was OK but not top quality.
Summary: A good property, by the sea but not quite "on the beach"

Positive: We loved the quaint and quiet atmosphere of Sealofts. The simple, cool design of the interior made us feel right at home. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck and were able to walk over and sit on chairs overlooking the ocean each morning. The proximity to stores and restaurants was very convenient. Joyce, the property manager, was super-efficient and helped out with all pertinent information. She, along with other staff, were very warm and welcoming. This was exactly what we were looking for! We would definitely stay here again!
Negative: There wasn't anything to dislike.

Positive: The ocean view units are close to the water and you can readily hear the waves. There is a good ocean view from the deck-- not the lean out over the railing for a glimpse between the buildings that some properties call ocean view. There are many good restaurants in easy walking distance. Also groceries (the best one is near the Marriott), a good wine shop (across the street), and a pharmacy (also near the Marriott). Sealofts is right next to the Frigate Bay taxi stand, so getting a car is easy, though you may need to pre-arrange your return ride. (All in all, one would probably be better off renting a car if staying here.)
Negative: The air conditioning in our unit is old and needs to be replaced. It was not able to keep the unit cool during the day. There were also some less critical maintenance items that contributed to a less than ideal stay. The Saint Kitts water department sometimes shuts off service overnight to conserve water. This happened one night while we were there. (There was also a water main break one day, which was repaired in a couple of hours.) There is no easy access to the beach from this property. While the description is clear that the Sealofts waterfront is not for swimming (the Atlantic side waters can be pretty rough), it was still disappointing not to be able to get onto the beach and walk around. There is an access through a side gate, but it involves going down a fairly steep sand embankment. (If you could get onto the beach, the Marriott beach, which is safe for swimming, would be about a 5 minute walk. It's more like 10 minutes going around the land side.) We were disappointed that the main bedroom balcony did not face the ocean. Some units do and if this is something that matters to you, check with the property before booking.
