Positive: Pretty amazing location right by the sea. We were able to stay in a villa with our dog. The resort is a lot bigger than I imagined and offers attractions, restaurant, and souvenir shops. Comfy beds and pillows. Spectacular glass ceiling. We were the only guests in the restaurant and still were served dinner. Good breakfast. Walking distance Kemi center.

Negative: Dogs are not allowed into the main building, where the restaurant, shops, and attractions are. No parking close to the villas. The ice cave and the gem stone exhibition are not free for guests or cheap, even though staying at the villa is quite pricy. The bathroom has an annoyingly bright light that is sensor-operated and takes a long while to go off. Not possible to open a window for fresh air.

Positive: There’s so much going on here. There are sculptures, a snow castle and the icebreaker tours leave from reception. It’s amazing place which was really busy at reception however the cabins are quiet and peaceful. I only stayed one night to go on the icebreaker cruise the next day. The cabins are cosy and it’s so serene just looking out. I wished I’d stayed longer

Positive: Great view, especially from the first line! Perfect location in case you want to visit Snow castle and one of the icebreaker cruises. Also easy access to the standard northern attractions like dog sledge, snowmobile safari or ice fishing. Also if you are lucky and you use good prediction application you could observe the aurora from inside the glass villa. Remember to switch off all lights, otherwise you could miss it.

Negative: When tourists come for the cruises, the privacy is a bit of problem for the nearest to the path villas. At the check-in you'll be advised to not touch the air-conditioning control, except adjusting the temperature. However you should consider switching it in quite mode for the night, the automatic mode is too loud. Be careful with the eggs, they are soft boiled and there is no sign for that. If you like hard boiled eggs you could be badly surprised.

Positive: Found this place while having a stop for the snow castle. Amazing cabin on the lake shore with the best views. Stylish interior, warm and cosy. You feel like your the only one there and you are treated to a superb breakfast in the morning. If you are going there vistit the gem stone exibition.

Positive: The villa was amazing in the summer, great views and perfect for relaxing. It gave us the illusion of being on the beach, enjoying the summer.

Negative: The villas get super hot in the summer-time. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, and there is hot water available for showering only for 13 minutes until the boiler runs out, so two people (esp. with long hair) showering within the same hour might be an impossibility.
