Villa Manoutsio is a newly built (in 2007) and traditional decorated villa in a 17 acres agricultural property with olives trees.
Villa Manoutsio is approved by Greek Tourism Organization with license number: 1041K91002985101.
It offers great seaview from the 1st floor terraces and absolutely privacy. You can enjoy the beauty of nature, the sea and mountain view and the magic of quietness. The villa is surrounded by lawn where you can enjoy sunbathing,reading and relaxing. It has its own BBQ, a wood oven, and playground for children.
The villa consists of two bedrooms with double beds located on the Ist floor, one bathroom at the first floor and one at the ground floor and offers comfortable accommodation for 6 people. On the ground floor you can also find an dining room, a seating area with fareplace and a fully equipped kitchen with utensils and devices such as oven,microwave oven refrigerator, dishwasher, espresso mashine etc.
The bedrooms and the ground floor are air-conditioned, and each bathroom has wc and shower. Also, heater for unlimited hot water, WiFi internet,satellite TV,sound system, hair dryer, ironing board, washing machine are provided.
It is only 500 meters away from the sandy and well-organized Pelekanos Beach(part of Kavros beach which is one of the best sandy beaches of north Crete with 10 km length) The beach has sun beds and umbrellas and you can find an outside bar and a taverna that offers you traditional food, but if you prefer your privacy is sure that even in the high summer season, you can easily find a secluded spot on your own . Just 11 km away from the town of Rethymno and 35 km from the town of Chania, the location of our villa is ideal in order to explore the beauties of Crete.At Kavros area at 2.5 km you can find supermarkets, butcher shop with fresh local meat, pattiserrie as well as a gas station. At the traditional village of Episkopi at 2 km you can find all kinds of shop as well.The Georgoupolis area at 5 km is a tourism town where you can find many restaurants, tavernas, cafes, bars and shopping.The town square is surrounded by outdoor seating used by tourists enjoying their drinks and ice creams. At Georgioupolis you can enjoy many leisure activities such us, fun park, children's play area with mini-golf, motor park, horse riding, cycling, adventure bike and express trips with tourist trains. At the station in Kavros and Georgioupolis you can make several trips with trains to Kournas Lake, into the mountains to visi the Cretan Villages, to the old city of Lappa and the waterfall springs of Argiroupoli.
The Kournas Lake is the only freshwater lake in on the Island of Crete. The waters are especially calm and visitors enjoy the peaceful setting.The many tavernas provide the perfect place to enjoy and drink or meal looking out over the lake. In the summer the lake shrinks slightly creating a temporary beach where visitors can sit on the sun loungers and relax in the sun or may rent a pedalo and spend time floating around the lake.

Summary: We had a great time at the house. The house had everything we need to have a great vacation and great time at the beach. It was idyllic and the house has plenty of opportunities to spend time at home too. Especially for a family! The tenants were very nice and reachable, which made the atmosphere even better.

Summary: We had a perfect holiday in Crete. Melina and Stelios (the owner of the house) were very friendly and gave us a lot of tips, so that we could enjoy our holidays. The house is situated in a farm land area, with olive trees and sheeps. You can walk to the nearest beach in maybe ten minutes. The next supermarkets and restaurants are also not far away (about 2 or 3 kilometers). We enjoyed having barbecue and breakfast in the garden. All in all we had a nice stay. Thank you.

Summary: Well, how about PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! I could not say one bad thing about the villa or the owners. Melina and Stelios were fantastic hosts and treated us like royalty. Melina had actually made a us a pasta meal, pastitsio, and it was ready when we arrived. It was delicious and lasted two of us about 3 meals! The villa had EVERYTHING you need! It was beautiful, up a road into the countryside, overlooking Episkipo beach. We had views of the sea and of the mountains. We watched sunrises and sunsets from the terraces at opposite ends of the villa. We sat for hours in the cool shade of the picnic patio (huge). It was quiet and secluded. It is right between Chania and Heraklion, which made it perfect for us to see sites in both areas. Melina even arrange our anniversary dinner at an excellent restaurant. Plus they gave us many tips on local places. 6 night was waaay too short. If we get to return, it will be for a month, at least. I cannot recommend the villa or Melina and Stelios highly enough!!!

Summary: This villa had everything needed for a comfortable stay and the owners were very kind in leaving little touches like bottled water, wine and even a home-cooked meal. Children under 10 would love the garden with its selection of swings and nets.

Summary: We had a very nice time in the house of Stelios and Melina. House and garden were just perfect to relax with our one year old as everything is there from kitchen to playground outside. Quiet but close to nice restaurants and beaches. Thank you very much for the great check in/out and the fast and easy communication. We would love to come back.

Summary: Very nice and absolutely private villa. Very good location in order to explore the whole Crete and a really relaxing garden if you want just to rest! The owner are amazing people, very kind and helpful. Melina's pastitsio is a wonderful meal after a long trip. Ideal place for kids as it has many games for them in an absolutely safe and protected garden. I will defenitely visit them again next summer! Thank you!
