Circle J Cabin was originally built in 1940 and has been renovated with the charm and warmth of a rustic lakefront property set on the beautiful banks of Lake Travis. It was redesigned to offer all the comforts of home such as stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans throughout, custom tiled countertops, uniquely designed bathrooms (one walk in shower and one claw foot bathtub) and comfortably appointed bedrooms. The interior of Circle-J is accented with uniquely finished concrete flooring, a vaulted ceiling living room with custom furnishings that help make this a true lakeside retreat.

Summary: This place transcends time… you feel like you have stepped back to the 40s and 50s in this wonderful “big house”. I have never felt so at home at a Vrbo as I did this one. The handbills craftmanship that was kept by the family is amazing. I am so glad that they shared this place with us! A relaxing weekend wasn’t enough, I think we are going to try a much longer stay in the future.

Summary: This was our 4th time to stay at Circle J Ranch. For our family, it is a perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. A real get-away for 3 adults who live/work in the city. And our labrador enjoys the stay as well. Joy and Tracy are great hosts. The ranch house is always clean when we arrive and has everything we need for a comfortable stay.

Summary: Property was excellent and the stay was great. It was very peaceful and relaxing and a great couple of days with friends. Also nice that the clouds cleared during the entire totality. Recommend the place wholeheartedly and will likely revisit some day.

Summary: Found this absolute gem for a intimate friends-family rendezvous and the facilities more than satisfied during transition season w/ terrific ambient temperatures, winds, weather and during peak blue bonnet bloom (wish the review would provide the submission of photos). Our 10 yo golden retriever (approval needed before booking) had a ball even though we didn't let her swim since the lakeshore was mud filled w/ the Lake Travis water level is only 37% full (ugh!). Tracy and Joy (best hosts ever) have this extremely clean stone cabin with plenty of history set up ideally w/ all the fixins, soft luxurious linens, AC, ceiling fans and a wonderful screened porch w/ ceiling fans overlooking the lake for a small group. Next time, we'll try to arrange our stay when the Flat Creek Winery is serving. This vrbo cottage is a 'Can't Miss!' Thank you.

Summary: We had a great time at the Lake Cabin! Our dogs really enjoyed all the open space and swimming in the lake. The cabin was very clean and stayed nice and cool even in the heat. The enclosed porch was really nice to have as well. We had everything we needed, and thankfully brought food and drinks since the closest stores aren’t very close. There was a nearby summer camp using the property’s dock to take kids out in boats, but all our interactions with them were great, everyone was very friendly…and our pups enjoyed the extra pets!

Summary: This was our third time to stay at Circle J, and it was just as nice as the first time. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Deer came through the property each evening at dusk. If you need a break from your regular routine, this is the place to stay. For a nearby place to enjoy pizza, wine and good music, we recommend Flat Creek Winery.
