Positive: It was private. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms was nice.
Negative: The email I received said the code would be the last four digits of my phone number. That was not correct. I had to call the owner when I arrived at 10:00 pm to get the code for the front door. The sliding doors on the porch didn't lock and we didn't feel secure because of that. The house was also right on the line for the time zone. My sister and I could be sitting next to each other and one of our phones would be in Central time zone and one in Eastern. Depending where we moved in the house, that would change. None of the clocks in the house were plugged in to help keep track of the correct time.

Positive: The property was easy to access. It was very cozy and clean. The host supplied everything we needed plus more. Nice back deck, inside porch, and front porch. You don’t have to drive far to get to downtown or any stores.
Negative: I didn’t like the entrance to the driveway but it was manageable. The door to the bedroom upstairs didn’t close. There were thick spider webs and spiders all around the property.
Summary: I recommend staying at this nice property. The host was very nice and helpful.

Positive: We liked the coziness and all the great amenities (2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, kitchen utensils/plates etc, and attached sunroom)
Negative: The road noise was bad sometimes. We weren’t happy that the door code wasn’t changed but the host gave us the code and we felt pretty safe that previous guest wouldn’t be returning. She said they were working on a new automatic code/lock. Also wasn’t happy that Booking gave one fee but when I accepted, the fee was raised by over $60.
Summary: Nice location not too distant from the city with cozy home feeling.

Positive: It was a short stay so we did not get to take full advantage of the property. Location is good and the home was clean and comfortable.
Negative: Communications with the host was minimal and no one answered when we had a short issue getting into the home. The instructions for getting is were to use digits from the booking phone number. Unfortunately, that meant the host number not ours so I struggle for a bit to figure that out and as I said no one answered the phone when I called about the issue, and not call back for the missed call.
Summary: Short stay, good location, clean and comfortable property, not so great host communication.
