Summary: A beautiful location. Very private, great beach area for walking and swimming and gathering shells. The cottage was perfect. The view from the loft bedroom out over the ocean was stunning and the cottage was equipped with everything you could need. This was our second stay here and we cannot wait to return again.

Summary: Clean, open space with a great view. Well decorated and felt comfortable. Easy access to the beach. Did not have a hot tub as indicated. Would have liked to check out a little later. Overall it was excellent! Highly recommended!

Summary: Two weeks in mid October, extra quiet island, no bugs and crisp air contributed to the perfect vacation. This house was the best! The open floor plan with two bedrooms and full bath downstairs and master suite with full bath in the loft helped to make the house feel cozy and spacious at the same time. The location on the water and surrounding grounds with beautiful green grass, front deck and fire pit area were the perfect additions. The area is remote with neighbors on one side which we hardly saw, and the screen porch on the non neighbor side afforded complete privacy. We were looking to return to this area after 20+years and this property was so much more than we expected. I could live here forever......waking early in the morning to watch the sunrise and enjoying wine each evening near the fire-pit to watch the sunset was just magical!! Sorry about the full recycling bin of empty wine bottles!! Doug the owner was so responsive and kind despite trying to book this cottage two years in a row and being disappointed and having to cancel due to pandemic issues. The house is so beautifully and comfortably decorated that you feel right at home, but the little touches of pottery, pillows, and accessories make you feel like you're in an art gallery. We purposely chose to be surrounded by nature for our two week trip so Randy could draw and paint outside and though the remote location, the house is an hour's drive into Charlottetown. 20-30 minutes away is Montague which has two breweries, music, two grocery stores, liquor store, Dollar General and McDonalds, Wendys, and Tim Hortons. Despite being on the island just two weeks after Hurricane Fiona and seeing so many downed trees, it was still our best vacation ever. Thank you Doug and Maggie for sharing your beautiful house with us, and thank you Margaret (property manager) for answering all our questions. We are still smiling!! Anne and Randy

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Panmure Island. The cottage is exactly as described and fully equipped for all your needs. The location is totally private and with a short 25 km trip into Montague you can get staples and most needs. We thoroughly enjoyed the seafood…lobster, muscles, clams and fish. The BBQ on site gave you the option for a little turf in your diet. Thanks for the opportunity to stay there…highly recommended. Robert Shearer

Summary: This cottage is so well designed! Lots of outdoor seating makes it a great spot to entertain friends - and situated close to one of the best beaches on the island, even your friends from the west end may make the trip down! Appreciated having great wifi (local friends were super impressed!) since we had to work remotely a couple days while there. Lots of movies and puzzles if you spend a day inside. Host was very responsive. We would book here again and recommend it to our friends.
