Summary: Early Spring in north east Sicily, overlooking the Aeolian Islands, again - 4th visit ! We stayed in the pink house half way up the hill. It was just perfect. The property was clean and well maintained, now with Wi Fi. Well stocked kitchen, with utensils etc. Lovely covered eating area outside and brick barbeque. We ate outside all the time. All very rustic. Beaches 5/7 mins drive away. Villefranche has great local produce, again only 3/5 mins by car. Francesco, the owner, was really good at pointing us in the direction of the local baker, greengrocer and butcher - so we ate one meal at least per day on the terrace of the Pink house with the fabulous views. The villa has a basketball court too. All such fun - we're booked again for next year and taking friends too.

Summary: A cosy country house with a spectacular sea view. Suitable for families or group of friends. If you like relaxation then this house is ideal, you will be immersed in a most peaceful countryside. A 5 minute drive away and you have the beatiful sandy beach of Villafranca. The vills is well equipped with air conditioning and free WiFi connection. The garden is a perfect spot to see the sunset, so at the end of the day you can relax and enjoy the sun setting. The town and beaches are nearby, but you do need a car to stay here.

Summary: The house is in a nice location with lovely views to the sea. The villa itself is in need of modernisation. It has a neglected feel to it; furniture and applinaces are all quite old and some areas of the house could be cleaner. There is only Italian TV, no Satellite or DVD player. Wifi is available and works most of the time. The house makes a good base for exploring the area; some attractions are quite a drive away - the best beach is San Gregorio (40 min), Mt Etna (just under 2 hrs), Taormina (about 1 hr). The local village beach is also good and there are some nice restaurants. The owner is very helpful.

Summary: Very big, sunny and fully equipped house. View is breathtaking. The bedrooms, living room and bathrooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location is perfect to explore the whole Sycily (better to have a car). The owner is very kind and helpful. Perfect place for those looking for calm and interesting excursion

Summary: The house was charming, comfortable and so peaceful. It was a delight to come back to the house after a day at the beach and dine on the terrasse in front of spectacular sunsets! The house is ideal for families, everyone will enjoy it. The location was perfect for day trips to either the islands or Taormina. The owner was very nice and helpful.

Summary: Villa Anna is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There are superb views from the villa to both the mountains and the sea. Ideal for a relaxing get-away-from-it-all holiday. Just take a stack of books, get some of the excellent local wine and unwind over a superb brick-built BBQ (but don't forget the mossie repellents). The owner, Francesco, is very helpful.

Summary: We loved this villa, peaceful, very secluded, with stunning views over the sea and the unspoilt countryside. The place was ideal for our children and they enjoyed it so much, it was very safe for them to play in the garden and in the back lawn. We spent most days at the beach in Villafranca, so convenient, only 5 minutes drive. The beach is sandy, water is very warm, we were swimming until 8.30pm and the sun was still there! The shops and supermarkets in Villafranca are very convenient and we use to buy the food there and cook it at home. Have a try at the recommended local shops, meat and fish are excellent and we had a couple of great barbecues. On the last day, we visited Taormina, such a gem, with its medieval streets, beautiful shops and bars. Thank you, Francesco, for being such helpful and nice owner!

Summary: A lovely romantic villa (even more beautiful than what expected from the pictures on the website!), it’s like being in the countryside and at the beach at the same time, the house is perfectly located on a peaceful hill and at only a couple of minutes drive from the seaside. The views are absolutely stunning and we enjoyed the most fantastic sunset over the Aeolian Islands, unforgettable! During the day, the possibilities are endless whether you choose the sea (the beaches of Villafranca are 5 minute drive away), the hystorical places or the natural beauties
