This converted shop/garage is now a cozy living area with all of the amenities of your own home offering plenty of privacy.
This is a smoke-free home and property.
This home has an open living room/kitchen with a full bathroom/laundry room on the1st floor and an enclosed bedroom loft.
The kitchen has all the conveniences necessary for day-to-day living: refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils, plates, glasses, bowls, cutting board, knives, etc. There is NO dishwasher.
The living room has a loveseat with a pull-out bed (full-size), arm chair and footstools with flat-screen tv with Roku Firestick (bring your app passwords). Internet is also available. There is a desk with chair and the dining table can easily seat 6.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and vanity area that also includes the washing machine and dryer. Towels, wash clothes, soap, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner are also provided for your convenience.
The upstairs bedroom loft has a small closet and 2 dressers. The queen-size bed mattress is new with Serenity foam topper. Even though located in the loft the room is light and airy during the day with a blackout shade for those who like to sleep-in or take a nap.
Pet Friendly -
We love our dog and take her with us when we travel, so we understand the need to be able to find an accommodation which is pet friendly.
However, before booking, please be aware of the additional Pet Fee ($100.00) which will be added to your booking, as VRBO does not do this automatically.
The home sits back from the main highway approximately 3/4 mile adding to the feeling of seclusion. Once at the home it is peaceful and restful being surrounded by the beauty of God's creation.
The home is 5 minutes from downtown Priest River and approximately 35-45 minutes from Priest Lake and Sandpoint; an hour away from Spokane, CDA, and Schweitzer Ski Resort; 90 minutes from Spokane Int'l Airport.
*** Note: This property is unique and may not be for everyone. With this in mind:
1) the road leading to the home is up a bumpy dirt road;
2) the loft is shorter on the sides than in the middle; those over 6' tall will need to be careful to not hit their head.

Summary: We stayed here while running a Marathon. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay. We loved being able to open the garage door to have less seperating us from the great outdoors. This was a nice secluded location, while still close to things in the area. The hoast also left us some delicious cookies.

Summary: We were a little concerned about staying in a converted garage but decided to indulge our adventerous spirits. Upon our arrival we saw it was exactly as the pictuers showed it to be. But, apart from the low ceiling (a problem if you're over 5'8" and I'm over 6') it was very comfortable and equipped with all the basics (plus a surprise stash of fresh baked cookies) so, once inside it wasn't that much different from any other VRBO. In fact it was kind of fun sitting in the comfort of the living room furniture while the garage door was opened. Effectly it was like having the entire wall open to nature. Would consider another stay when in the area.
