Summary: Great host , nice place. Local shop , stores nearby for those forgotten comforts. All round an excellent stay , boat & the water was also good. Definitely a place to come again.

Summary: This is an old house, kinda run down, but worked well with our needs. The lake kept the kids entertained with swimming and fishing. The owner was in the property next door, gave occasional wave hello, but didn't try to make friends, which is great! He did set up the wood for our fire one day while we were out, nice! No complaints other than a slight musty smell that we got used to after the first day.

Summary: I enjoyed staying at this cozy cottage. There was plenty of room for people to sleep. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the area. The cottage is literally in a forest...I love that. I also liked that we had the place to ourselves. There are only a few cottages on the lake, so it's not over crowded with renters. This keeps the lake clean as well. The location of the cottage was perfect. There are two beaches not too far away. And plenty of other attractions to visit during your stay in Grand Junction. We will definitely be back again.

Summary: I stayed with 5 other friends in this home. It was a nice quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the lake. We came for a girls weekend and spent most of our time away from the house. It would be a great place to hang out with your friends and family on the lake and having a campfire at night.

Summary: We stayed for a night, and the property was, as described, fifteen minutes from the beach and South Haven. It was a bit old and musty and could use some updating. However, the bathroom was new and the cleanest part of the house. For the most part, in a pinch, I would stay again. However, not sure I would want to bring the family for a week-long stay other than to sleep. The lake is pretty in the morning, and I am not a fisherman, but there was a few folks fishing at night and in the morning. Not bad for the price!

Summary: This cottage was perfect for a little weekend getaway with a significant other. We went to dinner in South Haven at Clementine's (would definitely recommend) and then made our way to the cabin. We used the row boat to paddle around for about an hour before it got too dark. The cabin was extremely nostalgic, we watched a movie on the VCR and it was a vibe. During our stay the oven did not work which was not ideal because we brought a frozen pizza to make. Other than that, no complaints!

Summary: The Cottage is functional for your needs of shelter, a place to shower and prepare meals. The outside grounds and Lake are very peaceful and relaxing. The children loved the outside area. We sat outside at night after dinner and the children loved to chase the lightning bugs..The Cottage could be cleaner and the grounds need to be cleared of some debris , but for the price, We would stay there again.
