Summary: When I read the online listing, it was listed an entire home, as a cottage. It was the basement of the renters home. Please review and edit posting to correct language. It was clean but smelled weird. I like to sweep the floors after myself when I stay and there was no broom or vacuum left to clean up afterwards. To say I was disappointed is an understatement

Summary: The name "Secluded Cottage" is not accurate. It is a basement apartment. This apartment is very well kept and provided linens, dishes, etc. You can hear people and the dog walking upstaris, people talking. The area is close to King beach, pretty much any place in Apple Valley is nice. I would recommend that the welcome email be sent 48hrs prior to check in. My travel day was the day I received the email, therefore I didn't get all the info I needed and had to text the property owner. I didn't want to disturb them. We were gone all day, everyday and only slept there. It was also close to Amity, which is where we spent most of our time.

Summary: The home was very comfortable. Convenient to Kenyon College The listing could be improved. It does not make clear that there are a series of steps down around the side of the building that are difficult for older travelers with luggage. Indeed I trippped and fell on the way up the steps with a roller bag. The keyless entry was not user friendly. It took multiple attempts to unlock every time we entered the home. The host Kelly was very easy to work with, very responsive to all communications, and quick to respond The beds were comfortable and the home was well equipped and supplied

Summary: The listing didn’t specify that it’s the basement of property manager’s home. The noise from the dog and family wasn’t pleasant. It was quiet during the night but noisy during the day. Couldn’t get much studying/ naping done like I planned. Other than that it was clean and fully stocked and bed was comfortable.
