Positive: We loved our stay here! The hotel is beautiful and in a lovely location. Xiaoming and Qin were wonderful hosts, so friendly and attentive, making sure we were never without fresh watermelon! We did the tour to the Bajiaozhai Geopark with Qin, and while this was quite expensive, it was a wonderful excursion. Bajiaozhai is not a very well-known tourist attraction, and therefore much quieter than other scenic areas in China. Free laundry and free scooter hire from the hotel were added bonuses!
Negative: The tours are quite expensive but the hotel itself is great value for money.
Summary: A wonderful stay in Guilin!

Positive: Great views from most of our rooms (a villa and a separate room); very serene location; customer service is excellent; included breakfast is fresh and wonderful.
Negative: Bathrooms in the villa need some updating to improve privacy and water drainage (eg with proper doors), short curtains did not work for us.

Positive: Best hotel I've been to in China so far and one of the best ever in my travels. The location is amazing, the room with a view on the mountains is insane. The manager, Xiao Ming, Is the kindest person on earth, generous, friendly and always at your disposal, day and night. Never found such a service in my entire travel life. He provides everything you need, he books for you tours, local guides, free pickup from Guilin station. Breakfast is good, western or eastern as you please. Free electric bikes and scooters are available for use if you want to wander in the city and the landscape: what a blast. The atmosphere is relaxed and slow but lively, and you can meet friends here. Restaurants nearby are also very good. And it's also very cheap!

Positive: It was quite a secluded area with hills surrounding it. Very peaceful and you an experience authentic Chinese surroundings. Even farmers nearby practices traditional farming method.
Negative: not much. probably some mosquitoes.

Positive: The hotel is in a very charming villa. The room was very clean and comfortable. We booked a room which had a couples massage included, which was very nice. Mr. Xiaoming was extremely helpful with everything we needed. It was my wife's birthday so he also helped me prepare something special for her.
Negative: The hotel is not very close to the city center and the tourists attractions. But there was the possibility to get electric bikes from the hotel for free which was very nice and helpful. Besides, Mr. Xiaoming also helps plan and book the visit to any tourist attraction.

Positive: The hotel is located in a very peaceful and harmonious place, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural beauty of Guilin. The owner is an extraordinary person, always kind and available, who gave us amazing tips and recommendations about the region. Another great advantage is that he offers free electric scooters, which makes it much easier to explore the surroundings. The room is very pleasant and spacious, beautifully decorated, with an extremely comfortable bed and an exceptional bathroom. The value for money is truly outstanding. Our stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for tranquility, comfort, and genuine hospitality.
Negative: Find The exact location was not so easy because Google maps is indicating a diferente place. We loved everything!

Positive: It has been a real pleasure to stay at this hotel. Xiao Ming has been helping us all the time, always attentive to every detail and with a smile on his face. A special mention to our guide, Jason - we did an excursion with him and it was incredible. He explained everything in English with detail. He is truly the best guide in the world!
