Summary: We had a week long stay at this wonderful Gite in Georges du Bois. It has everything you need, quite village nearby with a very handy supermarket for provisions. Our group had seven people, and we spent some time at the nearby Le Mans circuit to watch the 24hr race, but a lot of the time in the gite, cooking, eating and enjoying the fabulous landscape. If you want to get away from it all and experience the French countryside, with lots of walks and places to explore, this is the place for you. We've already booked a trip for 2020. Richard

Summary: The description was spot. It was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful including changing our arrival date due to Dock strikes in Caen. I would highly recommend this property to a friend and would also return to it myself. We were mainly here for the Moto GP at the Le Mans Track. Lovely country walks accessible walking distance shops and supermarket. The only minor criticism was it could have done with another 3 seater sofa for a comfortable sit down in the evenings in front of the lovely log burning fire. This would in no way deter me from returning to this property.

Summary: Our family, including elderly granny, enjoyed a few days at this attractive, spotlessly clean cottage in beautiful countryside only a few miles from Le Mans. It was very spacious, with comfortable beds and excellent facilities (including table football- very popular with our sons!). We loved the nesting swallows, the field of cows, the vegetable garden, and sitting outside in the sunshine appreciating the view. It was a peaceful retreat, but there was plenty to do in nearby Le Mans too. The owners were helpful and welcoming. Thank you, and we look forward to visiting again!
