Summary: La Cabanya is a lovely property in a spectacular area of Catalonia. All the facilities were great and the host greeted us at the property on arrival. We loved the location as was close to some beautiful towns and areas of natural beauty including Savassona. We were able to combine visits to historical towns such as Rupit, Vic Tavertet and exploring scenic viewpoints, the mountains and forests.

Summary: Everything exceeded our expectations. From the location, the cleanliness, the amenities, the communication with Anna and the amazing views - we were awed by our experience. It proved to be a fabulous place to getaway and recharge. We will be back. Thanks Anna!

Summary: We spent 4 days in this house in April 2015. Everything was perfect: the house, the surroundings, the quietness... It is a beautiful house with all the mod cons and the showers are incredible! All rooms have their own ensuite bathroom, which is great if you are travelling with family. Our kids loved the surroundings, which are perfect for long strolls. There are lots of things to do and to visit in the area. If you like hiking, this is the perfect place! We went horse riding and the kids loved it. The owner, Anna, was very kind and helpful, and gave us lots of tips about things to do in the area. We will definitely be going back there, especially now that they are also buiding a swimming pool! Gràcies, Anna!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at La Cabanya. Anna is a very gracious host. The area is wonderful, very quiet, beautiful surroundings, lots of beautiful places to go for a walk/hike. We really enjoyed the privacy and the quietness at La Cabanya. Barcelona and Girona (must see!) are about an hour away, Vic (with a beautiful temple) is about 40 minutes and perfect for shopping, groceries and the local market; a must visit! The old house is amazing, fully renovated with original parts still intact. If you love old authentic houses, but still want comfort and style, this place is for you. We were pleasantly surprised to find out every bedroom had its own bathroom! Water pressure was great. Lots of towels. The styling of the rooms is lovely, everything shows quality and attention to detail. Lots of closets and drawers. One bedroom downstairs, two upstairs. Kitchen has a dish washer, washing machine and oven. Cooking was a bit of a hassle at times with only 2 pits to cook on. Wifi was on and off, but that's to be expected. Of course we spend a lot of time outside, the garden is great. I would go back anytime!
