Summary: Countryside? Yes. San Sebastian side? Yes. Easily enjoy both sides form Lokate, a welcoming retreat in pastoral setting that is also so close to the attractions of San Sebastian and the coast. Local cheese vendor is in the nearby Aia. For a nature stroll, the Pagoeta park is just minutes away. Warm, welcoming host will make sure that you have all you need for your stay. (Thank you, Amaia!) The spotlessly clean two bedroom apartment turned out to be very comfortable for our several days' stay. Prepare your food if you like, the kitchen is all ready for you. Spend the evening on the sunset-facing terrace, enjoy the view and sounds of nature. France on one side, Bilbao airport on the other, both roughly one hour away - yes, you will need a car here.

Summary: Very nice hostess, lovely location. Would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would say is that if you are a light sleeper there are many animal noises and a dog that barks quit a bit during the night.
