Positive: We had a wonderful stay at this premium house. The owner is incredibly polite—a truly wonderful gentleman who made us feel welcome from the very start. It was a great place for the whole family, including our pets, and the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. The house is very well insulated, and the wood stove provided more than enough heat to keep us warm throughout the night. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with everything you need, making cooking easy and enjoyable. There’s also a wonderful library next to the stove—perfect for relaxing with a good book by the fire. The location is scenic and absolutely beautiful. During our visit, we spotted moose, wild pheasants, deer, foxes, and even many migrating birds in November. Exploring the surroundings was a delight—we even discovered a rune stone and a gorgeous river with a natural bridge. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Negative: It takes 30-40 minutes to get to Avesta. We havent visited Sala. But it should take less time. The road quality is good and safe even on icy conditions.

Positive: Beautiful location which offers the possibility to stay in a typical Swedish red tree house. The windows and terrace overlooks a stunning landscape. The sunset is lovely. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Summary: Would definitely return for some more quiet calm in the Swedish countryside.
