Positive: Justin and Veronica are super hosts!! Super clean accommodation. We enjoyed the homemade cookies upon arrival which made us feel so welcoming. Plus the thoughtful provision of breakfast and condiments is amazing and saved us few trips to the town. We honestly think Justin and Veronica should consider conducting training sessions for other hosts :) Highly recommend Serena Cottage to anyone who loves a serene getaway and the sound of birds.

Positive: Breakfast was good. Loved the fresh bouquets of rosemary and basil. Cookies were delicious.
Negative: The shower/spa was a problem. We are older and did not feel comfortable/safe climbing over the high sides of the tub with out a grab rail. Suggest removing the plastic curtains and put a full curtain around and access it from the side with the grab rail. Rock driveway difficult to pull luggage through and walk through.
Summary: We had a good weekend and Thank you to the hosts.

Positive: A very enjoyable stay in a relaxing setting with lots of bird life. The outside has lovely gardens and inside is wonderful. It’s spotlessly clean and everything has been provided to ensure a very comfortable stay. A big thanks to Justin and Veronica and for the lovely homemade cake on arrival 😊 We definitely recommend spending some time here.

Positive: This really felt like a home away from home with everything you need. Bring your food and you will be completely comfortable and set up to cook meals etc. Ideal for families with lots of safe play space for kids outside.
Negative: Signage probably needs to be a little bit better as Google maps isn't very accurate in that area and I'm sure we are not the only people who have been directed into Las Serena instead. Perhaps the owners of Las Serena would allow a sign pointing the right way at their entrance? Also coming from the other direction signage before the driveway would be helpful as it is a bit of a tricky turn and early warning would help.
Summary: Really enjoyed it. It's nice to have somewhere relaxing to stay with peaceful environment.

Positive: Ahhh the serenity!! Absolutely loved our cottage stay. It’s deceivingly spacious and has everything you need plus a beautiful view and morning sun streaming through the windows. The home made cookies were such a treat, and all the extras like milk, cereal, tea and coffee was so thoughtful. It was so peaceful, our kids loved playing backyard cricket on the beautiful lawn. We’d definitely return and highly recommend.
Negative: Only thing was we found the bed too hard so couldn’t sleep. But that’s just personal preferences.
