Positive: The hosts Nick and Maryna and the rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The accomodation is very basic and rustic, and they are looking at enhancing the facilities on the property to make it more attractive and enjoyable for guests. The farm is green, not only in the lanscape but with a low carbon footprint due to solar and spring water utilisation. Some furniture is made from repurposed wood, but suited the purpose. Despite the cold weather, the cabin was warm without external heating, and the electric blankets did the trick. Fridge, microwave and gas stove and kettle worked. Tar roads in the area are better than anywhere else in the country.
Negative: The nearest town, Richmond, is best avoided so its a long way to go to any other towns for catering supplies that are not available in the on site shop. Balcony seating is basic, and could be a bit more comfortable if someone wanted to sit there for a longer time to take in the views. Bins were not emptied from the previous guests.

Positive: If you looking for a bit of peace, tranquility and fresh air, this is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Extremely welcoming host that made our overnight stay so wonderful, sharing a bit of history about the place which was very interesting. Cabin was clean and cozy. Our host ensured we had extra blankets if required. All in all both the place and host met our expectations. Will definitely go back! Just to add, I lost/ misplaced jewelry during my stay. The Host and staff went out of their way to find it for me. Host even had it couriered to me back home! They were simply amazing!
Negative: Just our stroke of luck it was raining when we arrived so had a little bit of a challenge driving up to the place. It would be advisable to have a 4x4, 4x2, bakkie if you are travelling in wet weather.

Positive: An amazing breakfast, fresh, best cappuccino ever had, fresh milk, such amazing hosts, nothing was a problem, great chats with Myrana and Nick, 5 star hosts. Immaculate and cosy, so much thought was given to our stay being pleasurable.
