OUTSTANDING FISHING AND BOATING! Stunning views with 115 feet of frontage on 134 acre, all sports Muskellunge lake. Sleep well in comfortable beds, and cook meals in the well-appointed kitchen or grill on the deck. The sandy bottom shallow area at the shoreline is great for children to splash and play. Firepit provided for evening bonfires while you watch the sun set.
Our new 30' deck allows boat docking. Trufant pontoon rental is close by, or have fun with our 2 seater paddle boat - free to use - just make sure you secure it to the dock when not in use.
Roku TV, free wi-fi, no cable. Gas grill and outdoor seating for 10 on the large deck. We provide propane for the grill, but you will need to buy wood to use the firepit. Wood is available 2 minutes around the corner at County Line Farms in Trufant - ask for Randy. There are extra folding chairs and a couple of folding tables and side tables for use inside or out. A new mini-split is installed for a/c and heat in the bunkroom.
Enjoy Trufant's Thursday flea market or the annual Jubilee Stump Fence Festival every Labor Day weekend. Just 35 minutes to Grand Rapids - Michigan's "Beer City USA" - for a craft brew, fine dining, art, and shopping.

Summary: What a wonderful time!! Location and amenities were exactly as described. Couldn't have asked for better weather. All the kids and grands had a great time. Beds extremely comfortable!! Plenty of bedding and cleaning supplies provided. ONLY criticism, refrigerator was not cleaned out (still had styrofoam with leftover pizza) and vegetable drawers not wiped out. But, definitely not a breaker!!!

Summary: Cute house with a nice location right on the small lake (good fishing from the boat we brought with us). Comfortable accommodations that were as advertised. Perfect for meeting up with family for the weekend.

Summary: This house was great. It was immaculate and comfortable. The amenities made our stay more comfortable. The lake is great for a pontoon boat and wading for small children. We caught numerous fish which was exciting for the kids. The deck and grassy yard and firepit all very nice. I would definitely recommend this house!

Summary: This is a very comfortable home with beautiful sunset views over the lake. We were pleasantly surprised at the in-shower dispensers stocked with very nice products - such a thoughtful touch! Communication with the owners was excellent and their caretaker went out of his way the day after our arrival to bring us a few kitchen items that were in short supply. There was a nice collection of basic spices for us to use, and the owners provide coffee and sugar, which is also a special touch. The kitchen has both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, which we did not expect. The house and furniture are in excellent condition, the beds are very comfortable, and a generous supply of towels, sheets and pillows were available for our use. We enjoyed our quiet stay in this charming and nicely decorated home.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and very comfortable beds. The lake is beautiful and clear, great for fishing, swimming, boating. Would definitely book this home for our family vacation again.

Summary: We gathered for a multigenerational family outing June 10-13, renting two homes to accommodate our growing family,this one in Trufant MI and one in Gowan Michigan. Both very different rental, both on a lake. This Trufant home on Muskellunge Lake was everything our family needed and wanted! A peaceful retreat right on the lake with with Loons calling in the morning abd beauitfil sunsets in the evening. A place where memories are made ❤️. The parents dubbed the Four bed sunporch “ the bunk house” and our grandkids loved the separate area to share secrets and break their bedtime curfew. We brought out Therapy dog ( in training as she works out a ciue more rules!) Shelbi, a golden doodle who has already been visiting her targeted elderly group in our hometown. She watched over the littles and was fed a bit too many treats. The adull look to had corn hole competition, a campfire night, kayak trips on the lake! But by far everyone enj ok yes the retro paddle boat that rests beside the dock in the property. Sunfish and blue gills right up close making “ sand nests” to call a mate, bullfrog song in the wetlands near by, and watching families cruise by on large pontoon boats. We were immediately part of their neighborhood. Oldest granddaughter age 10, set up a hammock in the trees that held the clothes line for our swim towels. With a drink cooler on the deck facing the lake, and plenty of extra chairs to set up for Neal’s outside, we had a blast. The home was clean, with an earth tone decor, simple and as peaceful as the lane. Plenty of towels, with two showers,/ full bathrooms, one in the master bedroom. The pictures we took could fill their own personal tourist pamphlet. The bedding was Michigan friendly, to cold throw on the soft velour extra blanket, or wrap in the fuzzy blanket throw and cuddle on the sofa. A real wood burning stove right between the living room and dining area. To warm, throw off the quilt and ramp up the central air. Large two car garage for parking plus room enough for four other cars or a ruck pulling a boat abd two other cars. Minimal road traffic as this little gem is tucked nearly at the end of a small winding dirt road. No odor of cigarettes or pot, or furry friends. Yes! There’s a gas grill on the deck too and a new washer dryer set, dishwasher, coriander counter tops and a solid wood oak floor in the kitchen and dining area so nearly indestructible, quality and traditional warm ambience. Plenty of places for storage.

Summary: This house is a great place to stay. The view of the lake is spectacular. The house is super clean. There is a lot of room for guests. We really enjoyed watching all of the wildlife swim on the lakes.
